Possible to retrofit the 360 camera package ?

Its about 3 pages back but for anyone that doesnt want to mess with that connector. If you buy these two wires you can bypass that connector. I ran the long wire right up the fender next to other wires so it looks really factory. CCA is long enouhg to wire right in to cabin. Then I connected to a ML3Z-10E929-CBA wire. This is basically the other side of the red plug. Since you are not doing this connection in the plug there is nothing to clip the wires together. I slide a peice of heat shrink tube over it and it is super tight.

I thought about doing it that way but then I couldn't resist the challenge of digging into the C316 connector!

Update on my install, all wiring has been completed and front emblem and camera installed. I am waiting now on my mirrors and module and have tested the front camera using the existing back camera plug in pin #2 and camera functions and wiring is good.

I wanted to share some info with whoever is doing this to their truck. Ford has actually done away with the front camera washer system on the "23 trucks and gone with just a camera and emblem system. I was able to pick one up on eBay, part number NL34-19H350-LA, for $200. Attached are photos of what I got since my truck has the chrome grill. They also come in the black and chrome version but I don't know any part numbers. I like that you don't have to buy all the extra hardware to hook up a washer system that I suspect doesn't do a whole lot.

Yes, 360 cams can be added. Ive done it and am helping someone do theirs now.

Youll need the new mirrors with the cams. and the new third brake light. The grill is the same you need a new ford emblem and some cables that ford sells.

Yes Snakebitten is correct just about anything can be done. It is based on what you are capable of and what you are willing to do also what youre willing to spend.

If I had a Platinum I would for sure want 360 cams. I have an XL and I wanted them it was my third mod to the truck after the Digital cluster and 12" screen. Now my truck is done. its a 502a essentially at this point.

Unfortunately nobody on the forums will release how to add blue cruise due to safety concerns.

I don't believe anybody has retrofitted bluecruise to any F-150's.

On an XL, no less!

Of course it's a long ways from an XL, at this point. I believe it even has multicontour seats.

It's basically a Platinum trim, technology wise.

I'm guessing he has some regrets sharing the success though? I think he's hounded relentlessly, which IS understandable on a public forum. He provides for his family with that skillset he's blessed with. Not everyone respects that.

The biggest issue that comes to mind is how do you get a Bluecruise suscription from Ford, wonder if that's even possible. Lane centering is another story but true "Bluecruise" is a whole different animal.

I think he was also the geek (meant with affection) behind equipping the F150 with Bluecruise 1.2 on YouTube.

There's a mind-trust of a few fellas on this forum that have collectively afforded me great joy, along with reducing the anxiety/intimidation, of owning one of these amazingly sophisticated trucks.

Ironically, I have Bluecruise disabled on my truck for daily driving. Lol
Jesse let me know which single line of AsBuilt to edit to put the nasty eye scanning witch in a coma.
It takes just seconds to wake her up if I'm going to hit the Interstate.

I am really late to the party here, but I have a 2022 Lariat with the package 502A, after opening the front of the truck I found this wire hanging out lonely. is this the wire for a front camera?

If it is, can anyone here who has accomplished this, help me accomplish this as well?

Hey All-

I picked up my 2022 Platinum a couple weeks ago and it didn't include the 360-camera package, it just has front parking sensors and the rear camera (so no bed camera either, also lost the multi-contour seats).

Does anyone know if it's even possible to retro-fit the 360 camera package or is that impossible?

The Ford dealer can install this for you. I was quoted around $1300 complete. Don't chase parts and try to do it yourself, as the ECU/PCM computer would also need updates. I have 302a and most of the cameras are there already.

Interesting so how did they go about saying they would do it for you? Like $1300 plus the cost of parts?
