Hey man im looking and reading everything and looks great, great info, can you provide your paypal so all of us that are having value of this can appreciate your time and effort with a donation. Thanks again.
That’s not at all what I wanted out of this. The motivation behind it was to make future peoples projects more streamlined and easier. This isn’t a project that you can just search YouTube for. If you absolutely would like to show your appreciation my PayPal is [email protected]. A lot of time and money went into this and I would be thankful for any donation.

The jumper part number is in my last post, it’s the jumper needed from the front camera to the existing installed harness. The jumper part number you sent (CCA) is to go from the IPMA to the under hood connector which connects to the existing installed harness.

The third brake light I’m referring to is the rear cargo cam (above the bed) and needs to have a harness built from the IPMA to the 3rd brake light. 5 wires. I have bought the wire and things necessary already to build it.

You also will not be able to only add one camera. You will have to do the whole 360 cam system at once. I plan on running all the coax and wiring, then installing the IPMA last.
Can you clarify your last sentence? Can I install everything except for the side cameras and still have the "360" still work without the left and right side images? Blue screen for just those side cameras maybe?

I really only want the front and cargo cameras. I don't care if the side cameras are missing in the 360 image and don't want to buy the new tow mirrors with the cameras. I've purchased everything else and working though the install now.

You don’t need 360 cams for cargo cam. Yes you technically can install it with only the front cam you’ll just throw a code and won’t be able to calibrate the ipma and the screens will show blue for the left and right camera

Yeah I guess you could do that if you don’t mind the blue images all over the screen lol. I wanted the truck to look and feel complete and the day I get rid of it I don’t want the dealer trying to pick things out like 360 cams not working

Anyone have any advice on how to open the connector for the front camera and get it to release the pins. I have a video of me screwing around with it here

If you look really close there are tabs to remove the red piece once you have removed the blue one. Next take off the 90 degree elbow protector on the back and just slide the coax cable into place where the hole is and it will be locked in. At least that's the way mine worked no need to mess with the rubber boot on the back side that all the wires are run thru. Reverse and put back together and run coax into cab and that one is done. @Tlusk7 thanks for all your help and documentation.

Assuming you pulled the plug out from the front? I don’t believe the red piece is technically supposed to be removed. If I remember it says do not remove on it lol. The rear black cover is simple to take off if you watch my video and see how I did it. I wish I would have figured it out sooner.

Not a problem at all I’m glad to help

I had to remove the black backshell on mine to get the seal plug out. You can see the little green booger. I suppose you could just ram it through and let it float around inside. Just so long as it doesn't obstruct the coax.

I didn't remove the red piece but I did need to unlock it and pull it up some for the coax pin to actually lock in place the whole way.

To me it seemed the red piece prevented the locking tabs from spreading when I pushed the coax in. Once removed it worked fine.

I pushed it back with a drill bit just the right size, I guess it is floating around in the black boot now. lol

The green piece was the only plug I had. It was just stuffed in the coax hole in the black backshell. I saw the pic of yours. That's what I was expecting. You had no choice but to take the back off and pull it out.

That's the same problem I had.

It occurs to me as I look at the picture closer, the blue piece looks like it could be used as the tool to remove the red locking piece. If you flip it upside down, it looks like those 4 corner tabs would grab the red piece. Oh well, I'm not taking it apart now to try it. I read the Tyco datasheet that Tlusk7 posted but couldn't quite wrap my head around it.

You know I don't think mine had anything in the coax hole, I just used a drill bit blunt end to push anything out of the way.

The more I think about it there was nothing in the hole the coax cable went into. Hey, is yours working now, I seem to remember you are having problem with one of the cameras?
