Previously 2024 F150 XLT 5.0 V8, went back to a Toyota
I've got a rattle somewhere on the passenger side. Next time I have a buddy in the car I'll have them push on various panels to see if I can get it narrowed down, but I'm glad to have a little direction from this post. The plastics already feel pretty cheap in the '24, so the rattles are really making me miss my 2019 Tundra.

Now if someone can find a way to stop the passenger's seat back rattle when it is not occupied, he/she might win a Noble prize.

You've probably already ruled out the seatbelt rattling off the plastic but if not I put EVA foam tape on the buckle where it contacts the plastic and the rattle is gone. If the kids toss off their belts and they don't sit properly they can chatter.

Both my A-pillar trim pieces rattle in the same spot as yours. I‘ve known about it for a month now but haven’t tried to fix it yet because it has been too damn cold out. I see 60-degree temps in the near future so I may pull my A-pillars and install some foam tape. Seems like every other vehicle I own has rattling A-pillar trim.

I’ve owned several Mazdas and they were the worst They sound like the Rattle-A-Trap lipless crank bait lures I used when fishing to catch bass when driving down the road. ? ?

It's definitely not the seatbelt, it is the seat back itself. If I hold it, the rattle stops.
It is coming from somewhere on the lower part close to the center console (left side of the seat). I am not sure if I want to take the cover off, but it absolutely drives me insane.
I think that different seat height and back angle make some difference but didn't find the perfect spot yet.

Some seat trims have mass dampers in them (in the passenger seat) My platinum seats had one, lariat and XLT did not.

Mine Is pinpointed to the right side of the seat. It is side to side motion that made the sound when no one's in the seat.

What is a mass damper?
It definitely sounds like a loose, flexible piece of something is vibrating very fast against something else.

In the top of the seat at the headrest it's a rubber thing
