Really odd. Noticed this a few times where upon unlocking my doors the passenger side reverse light will stay on but I cannot turn it off. Later it will turn off

Note this tail light has a crack in the bottom lense due to someone hitting me at disney world. Dealer won't fix as they say it's became tail is cracked...which makes no sense.

Any idea? Only passenger side reverse light stays on .

Take the rear lights off, both sides and swap them. Then do your test to see if you still have the issue.
If so, then is the issue still on the passenger side or does it follow the light, thus now on the driver side?
Then put them back to its original side. Does the issue still exist and with the the same light?

A cracked taillight on these trucks, especially those with features like BLIS, can create electronic havoc on these trucks if moisture gets to the various internal components.

A reverse light behaving peculiar is far from the potential issues that cracked lens can lead to eventually.

I personally believe that it will eventually require replacement.

I wouldnt be able to do this test as it is random. I just saw it happen for the first time today since a few months. Very odd.

The crack is at the lower part of the light. I took it apart to make sure the BLIS was okay which it is. I am currently waiting to order the Morimoto Tailights as the factory ones are rediculous in price to replace.
