I’ve noticed this on mine too. I don’t believe it’s so much that it “off”, rather than it’s just really hot in the area where the truck was literally baking
? (out in the sun, getting beat on from UV days as well as the asphalt pushing heat back up onto it).
I read this article a little while back that explains why car thermometers ? seem a bit off:

Makes good sense, apparently cars these days don’t have actual “thermometers” by definition.
