They have done well in the rain so far, the stock Hankooks broke loose with any semi-serious throttle application on dry roads let alone wet ones. These seem much more planted.
Heavier tires rob the torque. ?

I really haven’t noticed any difference in acceleration, the Hankooks were just sub-par. A tire should not spin at 40% throttle application. Driving in snow with them was a hazard…never again. I remember when I left the dealer thinking “man this truck sucks in the snow” lol.

Maybe you can help weigh in for me here... I'm interested in swapping out my stock Hankook's and had that Nitto RG's on the top.. But now I feel like I'm most leaning towards Falken Wildpeak AT3's for some reason... If you were to do it all again, would you stick with the Nitto's?
The Falkens are nice, but not as good in the snow as others i have had.

I bad thing about the Falkens is they are HEAVY. 67lbs each for the size i run. No other tire killed my MPG like the Falkens did.

I have the Toyo Open County on my 22 now. These are much better in snow in my experience and are 57 lbs each. MPG much better than the Falkens. We are talkin 4-5 MPG better.

The Falkens do struggle in snow, in Buffalo that was one of my chief factors. The BFG and Firestone seem to be better choices than the Falcans for snowy places.

Major failure on drivers rear today, blew out when hitting an expansion joint for an overpass and lost all pressure immediately. Not sure the culprit.

Apparently someone may have shot the tire out as there appears to be an entry so no fault to BFG to clear the air. Not sure if a buy that as that’s a hard target to hit, maybe some small sharp debris bounced off the guard rail and slammed into sidewall I couldn’t see. Crazy shit. The tire deflated immediately at 70+ MPH. There was no time to react, went from 45 psi to 10 psi in the matter of 1/2 second in the left lane on a clear road with no debris. Hoping the rim is ok at least. Dropped the wheel off and they are going to try and mount a new KO3 to it and may have to order an OEM wheel if any damage. No visible deformation.

The good news is Fords TPMs is real time and not once every minute how some cars are. The dash lit up as soon as the hissing started.

This is wild. Glad to hear you were able to get stopped safely. If there's only an entrance and no exit do you think they'll be able to find whatever it was still inside the tire?
