I'd think KO3s would be far less than optimal in the temps you must see in Alberta. All season compounds and -40 don't often lend themsevles to optimal performance.
They work very well from my experience with them.....my only complaint was wear from lots of gravel, which I don't do as much.
In snow/ice they are excellent.
For winter it's all about siping......and they have alot.
They are a year round tire.

Been running these KO3's for about a year now, and they have been great. I have 315/70R17's which at the time only came in a F load. Which sounds crazy, but they are actually pretty comfortable.

Yeah, I really don’t understand.
I’ve ran BFGL terrain tires for like 30 years on one vehicle or another. I’ve always had. I’ve ran them on jeeps 2 Wheel Dr. trucks, four-wheel-drive trucks, I’ve never had any issues in snow or rain.
I've also ran them for many years on many types of trucks and have always liked them. One slightly rainy day accelerating to get through a yellow light, like half throttle with the powerboost and the back end breaks free like nothing. Then next time it rained I drove a makeshift test track to find the grip limits and just wasn't happy. Always on the hunt for better!

oh, I’m not doubting anyone. There are quite a few of made the same statement as you. All I’m saying is is I can’t recall ever experiencing them being bad in the rain. I can’t honestly remember them spinning coming from a stoplight unless I wanted them to.

Yeah, it must be me driving like grandpa I guess

I’m running the same on my ‘25 Raptor. Was a little worried at first with being F’s but I agree, ride and comfort wise I have no complaints. I did air down a little extra since I hardly tow or carry heavy loads and that helped even more 👌🏻

Probably my next set of tires...currently running Ridge Grapplers....size in the signature....they rub a little when backing up while turning the wheel and dropped my gas mileage significantly....probably going to a stock size BFG K03 for next tires.....

Those look great. That’s the same size my FX4 came with. Didnt know how the KO3s would look on 20s but I might pull the trigger on them after seeing this.

2 days on my Toyo Open Country AT III’s. So far much quieter than the worn and tore up ko2’s, and onboard computer shows an easy 2mpg improvement. Happy so far. I’m a tire nerd, I wish I had ko3’s to put on in a week to test side by side

Picked up a set of KO3’s today
$1500 and change, mounted, balanced, new sensors and tax

Too bad they’re for the FJ, the truck may get a set in the spring

I picked up a new '25 PB on Memorial Day weekend

I have been very disappointed with the KO3s I installed on Method wheels back in June. The tires vibrate considerably more then the Toyo Open Country A/T2s on my Super Duty.

I am going to have them re-balanced, at a different shop.

I read so many good reviews regarding the KO3s, I went with them. Hopefully, a rebalance cures my issue.

A friend has KO2s on his '24 Raptor and loves them. They do have a very nice ride on his truck.
