@Ajzride earlier today my comma3 reverted to dashcam mode and nothing was working (but it still showed sunnypilot installed). So I reset the device and installed sunnypilot again, but now it fails when I try to boot it. I get a "Manager failed to start" and a traceback from line 107 in sunnylink.py. Any ideas? I installed from release-c3.sunnypilot.ai. Was that wrong? Is there a way to reset my Comma3? Thanks

i think sunny is having some issues today.
tap on the screen repeatedly while it boots up to trigger a reset. Then switch over to bluepilot, we stay a few releases behind sunny to avoid these little hiccups.

Guys if you order a Comma during the sale right now, you will have to be patient. They have released a new harness box and it doesn't seem to be working with the F150. Someone is brining theirs to my house this weekend so we can try to figure out what is different and look for a work around.

I'm trying to decide on a professional scanner. I can't get a straight answer from anyone that's selling scanners. Top Don, Autel, snap on.
Will their scanners work with auto manufacturers going foward.
For the most part all scanners work great on all my trucks up to my 22. In two years the subscriptions end. Why would I expect that a 700.00 subscription on a scanner work for a 2025?
I just don't understand the implications of the encryption I guess.

I think it's too early to know for sure, but you might find someone more knowledgable on the forscan thread. currently only data considered safety critical is encrypted, so it's not affecting scanners, but who knows how long before that changes.

Well, you can always hope that more PID are added to the SAE set. With more and more hybrids and other tech at some point the generic set will need updated for basic diagnostics.

I keep getting a “Process Not Running,” error when trying to engage my Comma 3x running sunny pilot. I am using the sunnypilot installer bit.ly/dev-c3. I’ve tried rebooting and that didn’t fix it. Then I tried resetting my Comma 3x and reinstalled sunnypilot. That worked for two trips but then the error came back. Any idea how to fix it?

Yes I checked that and it was up to date. I decided to try your Blue-Pilot to see how I like it. I went for a ride and I’m stopping and shutting off the truck to change settings several times the problem did not reappear. I should have a better idea on how I like blue pilot tomorrow as I have a 6 hour drive I need to make.
