Most of Fords revenue is all ready made in the states of Kentucky and Kansas out of Kentucky Truck Plant. Between Kansas City Assembly and Kentucky Truck that’s probably 75% of their total revenue as that account for all Super Duty, Expedition, and most F-150 production. It’s shocking how little the rest of the portfolio makes up of overall revenue.

The GM’s F-150 is the Tahoe. They LIVE off of Tahoe & Suburban sales, that SUV accounts for most of their revenue. A shockingly large portion.

Doesn’t GM outsell Ford in trucks, or am I remembering that incorrectly. I’ll have to look it up but I thought between the sierra and Silverado, GM actually outsells the F-series

EDIT: a quick google search confirmed that GM does outsell Ford trucks

The numbers separating the 3 American consumer trucks isn't really much. It's astounding how pickup truck our American Culture is compared to the rest of the world.

Trucks float all 3

Quote from Detroit News:

The 2.5-million-square-foot battery park was to be run by a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ford called “Blue Oval Battery Park Michigan.” The plant would employ 2,500 people with pay ranging from $20 to $50 an hour.

Of course it's just one story, but it had the opportunity to at least imply whether or not it's a front for the CCP?

If it's wholly owned by a subsidiary of Ford, I don't think the CCP is a subsidiary of a corporation.

Regardless, it makes good press for politics and those that practice it as a profession.
My own personal disappointment is that I would like Ford to be able to offer the LFP battery technology that their competitors offer. They already have a steep enough hill to climb to even be viable in the near future. LFP technology is going to be a known entity as the consumers become more educated. It's absolutely the battery I would spec if I were to purchase another EV.
The statement in bold doesn't say who owns the plant. It merely says it will be "run" by Ford. May mean nothing, or may mean every thing.

I have no problem with the idea of making sure that only licensing fees are the only connection with the CCP. But if Tesla is doing the same thing right now, then Tesla should also be under scrutiny. Also, it shouldn't take long to determine the CCP's connection to the plant.
