% of Electric Driving

I’m averaging about 42 to 43% over 1200 miles of electric driving with my 24 KR PB and was wondering if that is about average. What are you guys averaging?

I averaged 42% - 45% on my 2021 KR PB and I am averaging the same on my 2024 KR PB.

Also 15-25% unless it is an all highway road trip - then < 5-10%.

I am on 285/65R20 load E tires though

Your KR is exactly like mine except for the mirrors. Mine has tow mirrors. Some people don’t like tow mirrors but I do.

When I'm commuting, I get around 25%. When I'm towing and traveling, it is closer to 5%.

I've had my PB since July of '23. I average 20% electric driving per tank through my last fill up two weeks ago. The majority of driving is mixed highway and local. Local provides the best percentage electric with best ever at 33%. Highway is always lowest between 3 to 7 percent. 30 fill ups to date.

I track every fill up in a spreadsheet with miles driven, gallons pumped, MPG provided by the computer, gas brand, price per gallon, and a few other data points in addition to maintenance and comments. I use trip odometer 1 to track results for each fill up. At each fill up I make sure to copy miles electric driving and then reset trip 1.

It looks like we are averaging near no miles on electric to 40+ percent. So now I’m wondering how much electric driving affects our mileage. I’m averaging over 40% electric and 23 MPG in the summer and now that I’m probably on winter fuel 22 MPG.
What are you getting MPG and percentage on electric? Does electric driving help our mileage much? Or is it really matter.

In just over a year of ownership, I average 20.3 MPG and 20% electric driving. With the previous 2013 F-150 Ecoboost that I had for ten years and 247 fill ups, I averaged 16.1 mpg. I'm impressed with the MPG improvement as the PB is 1000 pounds heavier.

I have noticed something interesting regarding recent electric driving. I have had a couple recent OTA's along with PCM reprogramming at the dealership for a recall in early October. The truck will briefly go into electric driving if I am driving on the highway with cruise control at 64 MPH on a level road. The truck doesn't stay in electric driving for very long, but I never noticed that before.
