  1. Start&stop

I hate to prolong this discussion, but this brings up something I have wondered about. I have a 2023 PB. The window sticker options/other section shows several removals. One of them is "Auto Stop - Start Removal" followed by "No Charge" for each removal. I was glad auto stop-start was a...
  2. Dash cam two channel 4K…

I have the 64GB Blackview micro-SD card that came with the unit. This model can accept a card up to 256 GB. 64 has been fine for my purposes so far. This dashcam is 2 years old and I don't know what the newer versions will accept. My son has a recent Blackvue and he put a 512GB SanDisk High...
  3. Dash cam two channel 4K…

I have a 2 channel Blackvue 970x. Also have their Power Magic battery installed under front seat so the front & back window cameras don't use the truck's batteries while recording when the truck is off. Two years and still very pleased with it.
  4. Rust remover tip!!

And a shout out for the regular Krud Kutter for general garage cleaning & light degreasing. Been using it for a couple decades. Wasn't aware it's in the Rustoleum family now.
  5. Found my annoying rattle!!

Brilliant! Thanks for posting. I've got an odd rattle like that & will check for those fasteners later this morning.

  7. What’s your go-to floor mat setup for your F-150?

WeatherTech front & rear on all F-150's for years. Great fit, easy to clean. Went with the FloorLiner HP version as they are more flexible.

  9. GrangerWarranty.com for All Makes and Models -- 2024 Recap, Looking Forward to 2025

@Granger Ford - Can you clarify this for me? You mention extended warranties for several makes including Honda. My son purchased a new Honda Civic last week. Is the extended warranty you mention the OEM HondaCare warranty or a warranty backed by Granger Warranty?
  10. 3.5 Ecoboost engine oil options??? I know...I know, probably already beat to death but opinions???

Somebody else asked earlier in this thread, and maybe I've missed it, but what's the best filter now? I've been using the FL-500 in my last couple F-150 EBs, but they seem a bit different since the number of flutes on the cans changed. Wix, Purolator, ??
  11. Almost purchased RCSB 5.0 but got a Supercab 5.0 instead…

  12. I am sick and tired of having to reset the controls on my truck every time I start it

I share your concern regarding the truck's hotspot. I couldn't figure that out after I got the truck last year until a member of this forum mentioned the USB cable solution. The only issue I have with the hotspot is because of the phone, not the truck. I have a Pixel phone and I need to...
  13. Android Auto Connectivity Issues

Yep, agree with the wired connection with Android Auto. Been much better since I started using that all the time.
  14. Update to Fix Window Issue

I got an update early this past Sunday morning, Enhanced Window Operation DDM-24.11.5. Assume it's the same thing. Didn't have the problem previously and the problem has not started.
  15. OBDLink MX+ OBD2 On Android Auto

    Nice! Thanks for the heads-up
  16. % of Electric Driving

In just over a year of ownership, I average 20.3 MPG and 20% electric driving. With the previous 2013 F-150 Ecoboost that I had for ten years and 247 fill ups, I averaged 16.1 mpg. I'm impressed with the MPG improvement as the PB is 1000 pounds heavier. I have noticed something interesting...
  17. % of Electric Driving

I've had my PB since July of '23. I average 20% electric driving per tank through my last fill up two weeks ago. The majority of driving is mixed highway and local. Local provides the best percentage electric with best ever at 33%. Highway is always lowest between 3 to 7 percent. 30 fill ups...
  18. Alternative to the rubber strip (mod to stop seat tears)

This isn't a person's weight or size issue. Getting out of the truck flexes the left side of the driver's seat as one rotates their thigh left and down. The fabric or leather on the side of the seat bottom rubs on the trim piece. Over time this can wear a hole in the side of the seat. This...
  19. Alternative to the rubber strip (mod to stop seat tears)

@HammaMan thanks for the info! Another project tee’d up.
  20. Alternative to the rubber strip (mod to stop seat tears)

I wasn't aware of this preventative measure. It is a really good idea. I'm OK with either a separate strip or removing the plastic piece and sanding it. I'd prefer the sanding method and have a couple questions. Does the top piece as shown in the OP's photo come off separately, or is that...
