How are the LTX's working in the wet for you?
I had two sets on a Honda Pilot and they ran great for nearly 80k a set. I'm not expecting that many road miles as my usage is different. But anytime I've gone for another brand of tire, I've been disappointed.

Done a mix of driving conditions, rain, towing, highway. I used to go OCD on tires. Now I don't. I get Michelins.

Got mine through Costco, where the prices just kill the competition. That's before you get any Michelin rebate and lifelong balance and road hazard etc warranties.

My 21 XLT came with some Michelin Primacy XC’s that were pretty shitty. I ended the lease with around 80k km’s and they were totally cooked by that time.

I'm pleased with the wear on my OEM Goodyear Wrangler Territory ATs. I plan on replacing them after my trip to Kentucky and back in May. I have a little over 47k miles on them.

I wouldn’t call Samsung the leader in phones unless you are talking about volume, generally Samsung users are lower income and the interface is more difficult to use. Several real estate/rental companies have built in android trackers in their application algorithms which step down your application priority. Statistically Android users are much more likely to be evicted or foreclosed upon than Apple iPhone users. Not even kidding, it’s a thing.

I’m not judging anyone who owns an android FYI, general statistics don’t define any single person. I’m just an android hater lol.
Generally speaking Apple products are more gearing towards Vlogging, producing u-tube content, and social media interactions. I always joke that Apples are for teenagers and terrorists (because Apple would not give the Feds access to terrorists' info from I-phones some years back).

Windows based operating systems (i.e. Androids) are more geared towards business applications and work considerably better at that.

Pretty recently I went and bought a $3K I-Mac that I use primarily for running my trucking company. It got returned on day 89 (no questions asked returns at Best Buy up till 90 days) and replaced with an $800 Windows computer that frankly is better in every way for my usage. I didn't care about the money, just thought I might get something better with the Apple, but was wrong. I do acknowledge that the Apple has a certain pizzaz to it and was fast as heck, but then again it cost 400% more.

PS. the stock Hankooks are scary tires! Such poor traction. But great mpg!

My PowerBoost has done 25K miles. I’m ready for new tires and leaning towards Wildpeak AT4W in the stock size.

Kinda surprised at how fast the OEM tires wore out. Rotated every 5-7K miles. These are Hankook DynaPro AT2 tires.

How long did the OEM tires last for you folks?

One tire had a slow leak the tire shop couldn’t find and I ended up have to use tire sealant in to stop.

My 2021 XLT Powerboost has a little over 40K on the original General Grabber tires. I would guess they have another 10K to go. No towing, or camper shell and approximately 50/50 highway/city driving. A little gravel/offroad travel. Regular service and rotations at the dealer. Not sure if I'll get a different brand for the next set, because I'm pretty happy with the range, traction, mileage and highway noise (really pretty quiet)Hope this helps.

Your shoulder looks decent for the mileage. I squeezed 56k out of the Hankook AT2's but it took some tread block clearing and siping.
But I'd recommend getting new ones before the trip! 😏

I’m at 21500 and my Pirelli factory set still looks great. What the hell did some of you guys do with tires?

I get your Apple opinion. I used to feel the same. But I've gone the other way. I used to build, fix, upgrade, etc. PC's and there was always something to fix. I'm not building much anymore so I got a new Mac Book M3 Max last year. It's a fantastic machine, powerful, fast, and the battery life is unbeatable. I got my teacher wife a top of the line Mac Book in 2012. It was getting old and tired so I updated the hard drive with a solid state drive which gave it life again. It still does living room browsing duty 13 years later.
The biggest drawback is lack of Mac OS compatible software. Apple's alliance is with audio, video, photograph, CAD, etc. content creators. PC's still rule the business world. You can still do anything on the Mac that is done on a PC but they each are definitely aligned to specific environments.

But back to the F-150 world; interestingly, I found my original Hankook AT2's to had better traction especially in the wet than my 2018 F-150 STX with Michelin LTX's. Those were horribly slippery. Decent otherwise and may have lasted longer than the 56k I got from the Hankook's. But I traded it for my 21 PowerBoost so who knows.
I now run Continental Terrain Contact HT's which I can't say good enough things about. They are very Michelin LTX-like, but with better traction. And the MPG's haven't changed. Yes they are HT's vs. the Hankook AT's, but I really wouldn't consider the Hankook to be AT at all. I even think the Conti HT's are more capable in moderate AT conditions than the Hankooks.

Hankook‘s here on my ‘25. Two down to 5/32 @ 10,000 miles. Rotated at 5,000 miles. Was told by selling dealers service rep tha ford orders soft rubber for their OEM tires. If so it does the tire manufacturers no favor because it gives them poor brand recognition.

I towed with mine, bought the max tow option for that purpose.
