2024 f150 xlt 11,000 miles. purchased in May
A few times recently I've noticed the GPS screen on my android auto being lagging, spinning 45 degrees left and right while going strait and jumping around. Today on my way home from work it would skip from where I was at on the map back to the parking lot where I report to for work. it did this all the way home. Ford gps screen shows my truck being in the work parking lot still, with a red circle and line through the GPS. When I got home I tried my wife's phone and it does the same. Our phones show us at home but as soon as I turn the truck on, android auto and even google maps on our phones show our location as my work parking lot once they connect to the truck.
I tried resetting the sync with the power and forward buttons and I tried unhooking the battery for 20 minuites. neither helped. When I tried to reset the connectivity I noticed the fordpass would not communicate with the truck either.
I am going to contact the dealer in the morning but is there anything else I can check before I have to drop my truck off with them? Its my only vehicle and they haven't given me a loaner the past few times i have left it with them so im hoping this won't take too long.
I did read a similar problem in the thread below, should I show it to the service advisor when I drop the truck off?
