@Ford Motor Company you've turned a useful tool into a complete waste of time.

I tried the beta and kicked it to the curb. This Ford lite is garbage.

There are a bunch of idiots in Dearborn and elsewhere who need to put everything back where it was and then get fired.

PS I don't give a rats a$$ about recharging stations. I drive a V8.

@Big Dog Daddy Did you figure out how to add a maintenance entry. I do most of my own basic maintenance and was glad to hear they had this feature in the App. I didn't want Ford backtracking by saying maintenance wasn't done, if something pops up. I'm picking up my vehicle in a couple weeks.

No, I was questioning @franksfords when he said he was able the add a record for his 2018 Explorer. Franksford you did this in Fordpass 5 0 ? How?

I was able to add air filter replacement for my 2018 Explorer.

I usually enjoy app updates as there are usually new features. Unfortunately most of the useful features are now removed. What a huge disappointment. I wish I never did the update. Pure crap as far as I’m concerned

If you're using an Android, you should be able to download and sideload from the link below. You'll want 4.37.0 then uninstall 5.0 and install 4.37.0 and dont allow auto updates on the app. It should work for a while, but eventually we may be forced to move forward. If you're using an iPhone I'm not sure if it's possible.

What is unbelievable to me is a company as large as Ford (billons of $) would even release something like this.
Most young kids these days could create a better app.
And they do on there free time. I'm guessing several people got paid a lot of $ for this new app. It's just sad.

Lol, the app for my lawn sprinkler control is now more full featured than FordPass. And it's a 100 dollar box hanging on the wall of my shed! ? ?

Right. IMO if you already have and app and then you decide to make a new upgraded version then I would think the objective would be to make it better and add more features not go the other way.

@Ford Motor Company, The new FordPass version is horrible. About all it's good for is locking/unlocking the truck and remote starting.

All the useful features especially those for managing and monitoring a PoweBoost remotely when in generator mode like in the old version are gone. The last thing I want to do is have to get up at and go out to the truck to look at the fuel gauge at 2 AM when it's powering my house during a black out because the new app WON'T display this. The old version I could see the actual gauge AND remaining mileage along with the power output and not have to go out in to see this.

I just talked to my nephew who works for Apples corporate technical support with iPhone and asked if apps could be revert to previous versions. Below is what he said.

"Short / easy answer no not really : long complicated answer would be to do manual back up of the entire phone to a computer or (possibly I cloud) , update the app and see if you like it and if you don't then you can immediately restore back to that back up but if you do this method and use the phone for a month or so after you make the back up and you want to restore, you will lose your data from the last month if that makes sense"

I like the way @Ford Motor Company comes in here with garbage and says “hey guys, check out these features that you’ve always had” but fails to mention anything they’ve removed.

I’m struggling to see their purpose on this forum especially when they fail to reply.
