So last couple days the new app just thinks my truck is on all the time so it won’t let me start it from the app. And it doesn’t look like I can turn it off from the new app either.

Have you updated from 5 0.0 to 5 0 1 that was released last week? If not try that first. If you're already on 5.0 1 clear the cache on your phone and log into Fordpass on the phone again,, this may clear the problem. So last couple days the new app just thinks my truck is on all the time so it won’t let me start it from the app. And it doesn’t look like I can turn it off from the new app either.
I just checked and I was able to lock and unlock my truck with the new app. With the new app I can no longer remote lock/unlock my truck. Not the worst thing ever but hardly an improvement over the previous version. At least remote start still works.
Sadly no 5 0.2 available yet, for android. Should be released in a couple of days, if the progression works as it did with .0.15.02
Haven’t played with it yet, but I suspect missing features still.

So far, 5.0.2 > 5.0.1 - only because it's a bigger number.Let us know what you find!
Are you going to get another F150?Version 5.0.2 is still trash @Ford Motor Company! The fact that you can't even make a decent app explaines why my truck has been broken and unfixable for 150+ days!
If Ford steps up and replaces my truck as a goodwill gesture, I may continue supporting @Ford Motor Company. The way things have currently played out, I will never own another Ford product and have very little confidence they are a reliable brand. Even the engineeers can't figure out how to fix the trucks they created and even the dealership is disgusted with their "diagnostics" that never fixes the problem. My truck has been deemed unfixable by the dealership and they said it should be submitted to be bought back by Ford but Ford refuses to buy back the truck because they don't have to under the Texas lemon law. I regret this purchase! Are you going to get another F150?
I'm truly so sorry to hear this, it's a terrible way this is ending. I have always had good luck, but I can completely understand your frustration with Ford, and you, Sir have been more than patient with them! A Patience i would never be able to muster up. It's a dam shame that this truck cant be repaired. I think givin your position I'd feel exactly the same way. I wish you the best in whatever your next move is and good luck! But as bad as Ford has gotten, let's not forget about the great times we had in those 70's Pinto's.If Ford steps up and replaces my truck as a goodwill gesture, I may continue supporting @Ford Motor Company.
