I am just getting familiar with this forum. I saw a number of posts of very long delays. I am going to place order via Granger but what to do about this concern?

Specific packages will increase your build time. I did not order the sport or black appearance packages on my truck (for other reasons) even though I think they look better and that sped my build time up considerably. Chip was forthright with me about what options ford was backlogged with and I'm guessing he can do the same for you too. Unless you're desperately in need of a new vehicle immediately I advise you to simply trust the process. Read up on the forum about all the options available to you and make sure you order not only what you'd like now, but what may suit you down the line.

Give Mahwah Ford a call and talk to Greg Cummings. He does most of the customer orders. Treated me fair. The are a smaller dealership but I have a good reputation in the area.

I recently ordered an F-150 through Granger and it only took 2 1/2 months. It arrived this week. I got an XLT, but I see there are long wait times for the higher packages like the Platinum. With rebates, I am around $47,500 out the door excluding taxes and registration. I couldn't get a 2023 leftover anywhere near that and I got exactly what I want without things I do not need. I used to live on NJ, but long gone as it is no longer the great place I grew up in. The only thing I miss is the great food.

I managed getting the ford over the weekend at PA for 5 pct under invoice.
