I custom ordered my 2023 XLT 302A from Chapman Ford in Egg Harbor, NJ. back in September 2022. 2.9% 60 month. Good trade in offer, no hassle. Was worth the two hour drive. I would go back. https://www.chapmanford.net/

Forgot to add: It was 2% below invoice

you can try this guy [email protected]. He's in sales with Holeman Ford
Turnersville New Jersey 08012. Helped me out. It's worth sending him the info and see what happens.

Now I don't remember the exact savings but it was sizeable. Between 8-10k if I remember correctly. Where I think you'll see extra savings is if you order a truck the way you want it without options you don't want. Everyone has a different take on hassle and what it's worth. I drove my trade out there and my new truck back so I can't quote you on the ticket prices. If it's too much for you to make it to Iowa and back I believe others here have good things to say about Chapman Ford which is either in NJ or close in PA. I'm sure someone else will chime in as well...
This right here! Without the options you don't need/want -- why pay for them.
I'm also in NJ. After the laughable prices I was quoted from dealers in state and in NY state, I ordered a truck from Granger and got exactly what I wanted at a great price. For the money you save you can get an extended warranty, a plane ticket to pick up the truck and 1 fill up on the way back.
THUS RIGHT HERE! Without the options you don't need/want -- and don't have to be paying for. MSRP on my 24 Lariat was $73,000. My below invoice at Granger was $64,000 (not including tax, title, license). And it's just like I wanted and nothing I didn't want.

Someone recommended Chapman. So I have been exchanging emails with Ed where I configured and sent the model. The cost comes to $63,378 for the same model built to order and i am able to get at $62,000 from All American right now. I thought the pricing would be more reasonable.

If you are saying the MSRP on a build from the build website had that MSRP at $63,378 and they are quoting you a price for $62,000, that is not really a good price.

I am not following. The MSRP of $63478 above includes a $3900 discount. Without it it would be $67000. And at this time I also have prices from Grainger. All in it would be $60k at Grainger not adding the to flight cost and fuel cost for driving back.

Can you please walk me through the process? How much did you save and once you factor in the plane ticket and fuel and NJ tax don't you land up with maybe a $5k difference. Illustrative speaking the model in question is being offered by my NJ dealer for $62k. A similar but not the same at Granger is $53738. If I add fees of $300 and tax it comes to $57618. Now that's only a $4500 difference and does not factor flight ticket and gas and hassle.
I live in NJ, in Monmouth County and I could not find a good price within a 50 radius from where I live. I saw Granger on the internet during my search. I sent them a link from buyfordnow.com of the F150 I wanted and within an hour they sent me a quote. The quote had the MSRP and Invoice for each item I wanted and at the bottom was the price Granger guaranteed. Granger's price was a little under 4% invoice and around $10K less than any dealership in the radius I searched. Granger will charge you NJ sales tax and if you compare that take against a truck that is $10K higher I saving at least another $660. The add $180 doc fee and a $35 in transit title fee. With what I'm saving I will save on the airfare, a night or two of lodging and several tanks of fuel. I hope this helps.

I don't see that. See below what I posted on another post. The difference is hardly material.

I live in NJ. Based on this forum and others, I have now the price quotes from All American ford, Chapman and Granger and this is how it breaks up. Chapman and Granger will require a 4-6 months build time.

All American Ford - $62k
Chapman - $63.3k
Grainger - $60.4k

The difference between All American vs. Chapman and Grainger is that the All American comes with the Black appearance package plus whereas Grainger and Chapman come with regular black package and bed utility package. So, I lose the step ladder with All American.

Based on the above, Chapman is out of the picture. With Grainger, when I add the wait time and flight in and fuel to drive back, it would be close to All American. Should I just pull the trigger on All American? Is losing the step ladder a big deal? And do I also need to spend extra for extended wa

I would double and triple check your numbers. I have never in my life found a NJ dealer that could come close to Granger (from experience) and Chapman (from reading here). The bed utility in my experience isn't something I use daily but I would miss it if i didn't have it.

I have all three quotes right in front of me. What would I need to double check?

If you could humor me for your sake, would you post the MSRP from each dealer, the out the door prices as quoted for side by side comparison? You mentioned in your original post that the truck lists rebates to the tune of 7500 but the dealer is only giving you 3500. That's a bit odd. Also:
Royal guard - $299 - Nonsense fee
Dealer doc - $699. - Needlessly high fee
Tax - $4064 - is what it is
Waste tire management fee - $7.50 - nonsense fee for sure.

I can't tell you what to do but something isn't adding up.

I got rid of most of them but will post the comparison shortly.

That out the door includes taxes and fees? I find that number from Granger very hard to believe. That's what you got back from Chip? Their price for me while not including taxes was I think 9k below MSRP. So even with taxes and fees there should be a 4-5k lower number off MSRP from Granger.

Don't go crazy about the steep ladder, my friend has one and it makes the tailgate very heavy to open and close, also it not helpful when loading large items. I added an Amp bumper step, and it works great for this old man. ?
