My Daughters DC trip

Did a full capital tour with JROTC over 5 days staying at Ft. Belvoir after flying into Andrews on a navy C9 in high school. $80 covered everything. Pentagon, capital (sat in the galley) , white house, all of the museums, library of congress, top of the washington monument, etc... Few years before 9/11, had amazing access, all planned to fill up all 5 days (and boy did it) thanks to the planning of our navy commander. Complete with 5am night-stick-beating-a-metal-trashcan alarm clock and uniforms staying the barracks. We all had an absolutely amazing time.

So... Does that mean you're throwing in to help someone else experience the same? ???

Thank you! Very much for your generosity. She is very excited and their itinerary is very full. The meeting laid out the trip and they would hit the ground running.

She was hesitant to ask us about it due to the money but we told her we don’t ever want her to not do something because she thinks it would be hard on us.

The generosity of everyone so far has been beyond what I could have even hoped for.

I can’t thank everyone enough. It will also teach her there are great people in this world that do care and want to help if given the opportunity.

Absolutely. Couldn't put a caveat on it "no funds to be used on anything owned by disney"
That was my one condition for the kid's Orlando trip. NO DISNEY! I told them to stop patronizing businesses that hate you. They were well entertained by universal / harry potter though.

Hello everyone. Im not one to ever ask for anything but for my kids i will. My Daughter wants to go to DC in 2025 with her school. I am not the most financially well off person. I obviously want her to go and we have time to pay it off as they made a payment plan but they also have a go fund me type of thing. My mom was a school teacher and took her students regularly to DC or Boston on trips like this. It was such a great experience for all of the kids. Your daughter is going to have a great time!
