Below is my three year MPG on my 2021 F150 Screw 4x4 5.0 3.73 rear-end and 88k miles.. I am 100% stock and swapped out for my second set of tires at 75k miles. I am still running the same Hankook Dynapro tires that originally came on the truck. I travel 120 miles 5 days a week to work which is about 80% hwy (73mph) and 20% city. The rest is primarily city driving. We do use as a weekend commuter and take on vacations. I primarily drive in normal mode daily. Ocassiinal sport mode for fun. Can not help myself. ?

When I took my truck home for the first time... I reset trip one odometer and it has been keeping track since day one. I only reset trip two odometer and do that each week to keep.up with gas mileage.

It is pretty impressive to run a 5.0 and get a lifetime 3year read out of 19.7 MPG.

Most on here give their weekly MPG, but this is my 3 year MPG. Yes, only calculated by the onboard computer.

Se the attached photos of my current displays.

Nice, my rcsb 5.0 was sitting at 19.1 mpg since I bought it new in December 2021. I recently had to reset my mileage as after the update, it was stuck at 0.0 mpg. For the last 3 months it’s been fluctuating between 18.6-18.8. I have noticed people on here stating they get mid 20’s for mpg and I just assumed they were calculating that for a trip or weekly because I don’t know how they are getting that with a coyote engine. I drive about 75mph to work and back and that’s a round trip of 44 miles on the highway. I do make a lot of short trips around town when I’m not traveling to work too. My truck is also stock except for the 17” steely wheels it came with being upgraded to 18” method wheels and 275/65/18 Goodyear wrangler tires that were takeoffs from another 21.

Nice! Slightly better than my PB overall average at 22K miles!. Probably does't help that I commute 7 miles stop light to stop light, leveled, and have much heavier wheels and tires.

I entered this thread expecting to read the sad story of someone getting only 5.0 MPG for the last three years.

Ever actually measure the mpg based on ODO and fuel used? My 2016 reported 1+ mpg over the actual mpg until I changed the setting in Forescan.

Up here in the Great White North, I can't use the all time mpg since I purchased it. Overall, in 3 years, my mpg is prob 14 to 15.
We end up having to idle our trucks for so long in the winter, that on really cold weeks, I can be as low as 10mpg or lower, but in the summer, highway driving gets me 20 as well.

The Coyotes are much slower so they save on gas. :D

Long trips with all hwy driving best I've gotten was 22.7. I'll take that all day.

Wow dude. That many miles in that short a time. Have you replaced brake pads yet? What fluids have you changed? Plugs? Anything break yet?

For reference, the lifetime (6500mile) mpg on my 2.7 is 23.5. The 5.0 is worth it.

I changed my original tires out at 76k miles. I probably could have easily gotten another 10k out of them. Only reason I changed all four was I ran over something in road and slit about a 2-inch gash across threads. I change oil at 5k miles with the motorcraft syn-blend and motorcraft oil filter. I had the CDF drum changed out around 62k miles for the 1-3 hard shift TSB. I run regular unleaded most of the time and occasionally will put plus unleaded. I'm on original plugs, will have to pull one soon to look at to see how they are burning. original brakes on front and rear. The dealership is the only place I take to for work with exception of oil change. I do at home. When it is time for tire rotation, I take to dealer for oil change and tire rotation every 10k miles. The number of miles I travel each week, I'll change oil when I can to save money.

I'm now at 89,410k miles. In shop for a clunk/creak at take off. Don't think the TSB applies on this one, U-Bolts are torqued to Correct Ft/lb. I replaced rear shocks thinking I had a bad one but, did not solve.

Overall, the truck has been great and pretty much maintenance free with exception the tires and CDF drum change out Oct 23'.

100 percent all stock and new tires are still factory match Hankook Dynapro.
