I have a 2022 F-150 with the V8. I installed a Flow FX exhaust and it sounds good, but it drones on the highway. I’m thinking about getting something higher quality. I like the Borla Pro XS—has anyone had experience with these, or any other recommendations? I don’t want it super loud, just something with a nice tone. Since I do a lot of highway driving, I’d prefer to keep cabin pretty quite

I have a 24 RCSB and looked at exhaust options for way too long. Went for a Borla Pro XS muffler and kept the stock resonator. The stock exhaust is stainless so I just had the muffler shop keep the OEM 3” exhaust and had them add a nice tip because the XL trim doesnt come with one. He also replaced the pipe between the resonator and front of the muffler with 3” stainless to make it all match. I think it’s 2.5” stock.

The tone and volume are exactly what I wanted and the appearance was about as close to stock as you can get. The price was also very friendly and far less than a catback system. I also didn’t want anything exiting in front of the rear tire. You can hear the exhaust in the cab but it isn’t overwhelming and there’s no drone at any speed on the hwy.

I live in the DFW area and see you’re from TX as well. If you’re in the same area I’d suggest the same shop I went to.

I’m pleased with the result. Simple and clean.

Has anyone seen or used this product? Y-pipe into rear exit dual exhaust tail pipes. It's not a cat back system and it probably won't change the sound. But it looks like it

would give it that sportier look with having to deal with too much noise. Any opinions?
It attaches to the stock muffler and is only for single exhaust trucks.

I went with a Roush on mine and kept the stock resonator. It doesn't have the drone. It's not super loud but I like the tone and it's loud enough when you get on it.
