Is that price for 20s?

Mine were $394 + tax/fees after the $120 rebate.
Sorry it was for 265/70R18's and before taxes/fees and the $100.00 rebate. They charged $20.00 per tire install and balance.

Different sort of question- I bought our 2021 Powerboost with a new set of the Defender LTX 2 tires on it, October 2023 installed. The Ford dealership had no tire packet in the truck. The original owner was helpful, checked his files & found out his wife had thrown out their whole Powerboost folder when they bought their new 2024 Super Duty. The question? Warranty. I'm sure the tires are serial numbered, can your obtain warranty service or certificate from those?

I would go toa Michelin dealer and see what they can do. The tires have a date code. Serial number. I would think so. Or some kind of identification.

The Michelin tires are good for picking up pebbles on gravel roads and then releasing them against the truck when you get on pavement.
This. Excellent tire, but man do they grab small pebbles and fling em. I'm thinking about a set to replace the Hancock's but I have a gravel driveway.....been there done that.

I have the LT295/70/18 Defender MS/2 on my PB with the Bilstein level kit set at 2in, and I love them.

This is my 4th or 5th set of Defenders, with it being the 1st MS/2, and I love them even more.

Downfall- the heavy ass 34 inch LT tire took 3-4 mpg away from city and 1-2 on the highway.

I love the look, but it would be a coin toss to switch to the 33-inch for fuel savings and a bit of comfort.

I have a short gravel driveway as well and noticed that they grab stones. I just go slow for a bit and they drop out. But, MAN, do I love the ride. I noticed my wife's Equinox will need tires and will put a set of these on. If the make them small enough...LOL

I want to switch to a low road noise, smother riding summer tire. I did a lot of looking and want to pull the trigge the Michelin Defender LTX 2. When I originally ordered the truck, I ordered it with LT tires and It came with LT265/70R18 General Grabbers. I ran them for 2 summers and they are a decent tire. On my 2006, 2011 and 2021 F 150 I run LT275/65R 18 Goodyear Duratrac's in the winter. Both the Grabbers and Duratrac's recommend 41 PSI. At that pressure, I "FEEL" every crack or bump in the road, as well as highway tire hum. My truck is a pavement prince and doesn't see off roading, heavy loads, pulling heavy trailers or a lot of gravel roads.

Who has run these tires and what is your opinion of them?
Noise?
Ride quality?
Stopping?
Handling on wet roads?
Tread life?
Hello, I also live in Canada, but at the other side of the country (Quebec). My previous pickup (changed to a Ford F150 at the beginning on 2024), was a GMC 2500 HD. I pulled a 10k pound fifth wheel and installed the Michelin Defenders LTX, 2 years before changing to the ford. Very smooth ride with those tires. But… there is always (but), when my fifth wheel was hooked up, I was feeling some side to side sheering in the road. These tires have very deep grove lines. I think that the side to side sheering might of been because of the thickness of the deep groves (more rubber between the road and the inner sole where the metal radial wire mesh is). Also, they tend to pickup a lot of gravel if you drive on gravel roads. I had to install a kit of Rock Tamers mudguards on my truck to prevent rock dents on the RV. Something to take into account because the side sheering is not a fun feeling when pulling 10k pounds. Have a great day.

I also recently added a set of Michelin Defender LTX MS2 (275/65R20 116H XL) to a set of Magnetic Metallic Painted Expedition 20s.

Road Noise, Ride, Economy and Driving feel all great so far.

Look of the tires: Blah! Unlike the LTX MS with bolder edges, Michelin decided to round the sidewalls to the tread. It makes the tires look smaller and more of a passenger car tire.

Costco also set mine to 41psi, I will be lowering them down to 35psi as noted on my door card.

Do you have a level or is this stock? Great looking truck!

How has the ride changed when you aired down from 41psi to 35psi? I am about to pull the trigger on these Defender LTX MS 2 tires, but I am a bit hesitant they will ride harsh over bumps being that they are XL load rated, compared to SL load I currently have with my Michelin Premier LTX tires.

I tow a 7000lb trailer with my MS2's but i pressure up to around 39PSI) No problems at all and very comfortable. Only thing i dont like is in teh rain it feels it slips a lot more than normal (running 35PSI all round), more than my hankooks did. not sure why.

They ride very well. I would not consider them harsh, they absorb bumps and chatter. All around they have great road manners, they are quiet and ride smooth. ~8,000 KM on them now.

I would not be concerned with the XL rating.

My 18" Hankooks only lasted 22k. Got the Defender LTX M/S 2 just over a month ago and just completed the Great River Road then NOLA to Padre Island towing a 5000# trailer. They performed flawlessly.
