I just bought a set of Bridgestone Dueler LX tires from @Discount Tire in factory size 275/60R20 and could not be happier with them. They come highly rated by my local Discount Tire store and according to them they are better than the Michelin Defender LTX M/S 2 tires and I will add that they sell them both.
Thank you for your business, we appreciate your support. It is great to have choices, and Discount Tire definitely has more choices.

Michelin has very confusing names. Defender LTX is not the same as LTX, and in dont recall the defender LTX MS2 having an E-rated tire.

Regardless, i had my 275/60/20 Michelin Defender LTX MS2 on my max tow Screw F150 for about a month, and just towed my RV for the first time (7,000lb jayco). This replaced the factory Hankooks which were worn out.

1. These new tires are SUPER quiet compared to hankook. The truck feels a lot more quieter and yet didnt give up on stablity. Highway driving is veyr smooth.
2. While towing (pressured up to 41PSI) felt just aas good if not better than the Hankook. Tire noise is still lower which was great.
3. This tire picks up a lot of rocks in the treads.
4. Mileage rating seems really high so for the extra price paid, totally worth it.

I am very happy with these new tires. Makes my truck feel new again, and doesnt seem to be squirmy. Load capacity is very decent on a P tire.

I have had two sets of Defenders on my previous two F150s. Love them. I will most likely get them again when I need tires.

Previous 2 trucks have had these Michelin LTX M/S tires. I tow a snowmobile trailer into (hopefully) snowy, slushy icy highways up north Michigan 4-6 times per winter. These tires are GREAT in the snow, quiet, and lasted me 60-70k miles both times. As soon as my stock tires wear out I will be getting another set. The cost makes sense when they last that long.

I like the BFG trail terrain but have no experience with them.
I had them on my 2016 XLT SC, and did not like them. Could never get them balanced even with road force balancing. They were good in snow, but terrible in ice and wet conditions.

Thanks for the info, I'm always gathering data as my OEMs are getting close to their end of life. Guess I'll continue looking, so far my next guess would be the BFG Trail terrains. I'll dig a little bit into them then, thanks again.

I had the factory Hankook 20's on my 2021 and just recently swapped out for the Michelin Defender LTX M/S2 at the suggestion of the sales guys at Discount Tire. I, too, did not want or need off-road tires, but what I did need was a slightly stiffer sidewall for towing my camper comfortably. I'm now 1 month into these tires, and they perform excellently, as expected, and have a much more planted feel while towing. They are very quiet and smooth riding. Driving with these tires I have gained 1 mpg, so I'm pretty impressed. If I remember correctly, the Discount Tire guy said these Michelins are actually a little lighter than the Hankooks with a lower rolling resistance. They also have a 70k mile warranty.

They assured me that they are an excellent tire for winter - not a dedicated snow tire, but an excellent all weather. Time will tell, but the reviews say they do well in snow.

Any photos of these on your truck?

I just snapped a couple. Rest assured, there are no poser wheel spacers. Just replacement tires on a work truck not intended for off-road.
