My lease is up in about 10 days and I noticed a couple issues just came up. One wheel pressure sensor is acting up and there is a pulley squeak on start up that goes away after a few minutes. I assume I need to take it in to service for warranty prior to dropping it off. I also assume that if the repairs are not complete I just leave the second set of keys with sales and sign the mileage disclosure ?

Thanks

I wouldn't worry about it, this is why you lease. Most owners are oblivious to small things like that and hand the keys in as if there's nothing wrong. If the wheels, body and interior are clean, no curb rash, no door dings, holes in the seats, just drop it of. Most times they just send it off to auction.
So, what's the next vehicle? ?

Good luck with the new ride! Post a picture on the forum when you get it.
The biggest thing they worry about on lease return is the vehicles appearance. Unless you blew up the engine they don't care about the mechanicals
On one of the Audi,'s my wife had, we had to pay for 2 Alloy wheels $1600. When we dropped it off, I said to the salesman, so your going to change the wheels? He said no, its going to auction we don't care. Dam, , I just forked over $1600 for something that will never happen. It's a game with these guys. ;) :(

I sold automotive paint that we could mix and put in a spray can. Many people came in and wanted paint for their vehicle that they were turning in on a lease. I would always talk them out of it because as I explained it, you will only make it worse looking than it already is. I told them that the hit on your lease will be minimal. One of my Volvo wagons had 2 parallel gouges in the roof, won't go into how that happened, but the dealer only dinged me $300 to repair and they were deep.

I've meet people like that, they think they can correct an automotive finish issue with a spray can. They do it and think it looks great! ? they can show you the differences between a real Rolex watch and a knockoff, but then there blind to the fact that what they did to "fix" their car has anything wrong with it, and seemingly think there work undetectable. ?

Some of them were very insistent , and could not be talked out of it, so like the good employee I was," remember the customer is always right " I took their money, made their paint and sent them on their way. Some of these colors could approach $35 -$40 to put in a can.

You are required by Ford to schedule an inspection before lease end. I had a small chip in the windshield on my 21 I turned in a month ago which was repaired and was worried they would charge me as it was on the list of being a no no. The guy came to my house started the truck and took pictures for 10 minutes inside and out and everything passed. If you dont do this pre turn in inspection and anything happens to the truck they may blame you. My 2018 sat for two months after turn in during covid so inspections were way behind. When they finally did the inspection at the dealer someone had driven it 2000 miles and the pictures showed it was filthy inside and out

The one on the right doesn't have the bubble over the date.

The one on the left has a white patch between 4 and 7 on the dial.

Maybe both fake.
Left is a replica. Right is a genuine reference 116600, last Sea Dweller without a cyclops, last 40mm and first with ceramic bezel.
