LT Tires and Running Lower Pressure

That is true for similar load capacity tires, but if you switch from P metric or regular metric to LT, it is not always the same pressure to achieve the same load carrying capacity. This calculator is good for making the conversion with all variables accounted for:

2nd, do not run LT tires at P metric pressures. 37 psi on P metric tires load rating = 45 psi on LT tires. C rated LTs 18s need 48 psi to match E rated 20s at 45 psi or P rated at 37 psi

A little unrelated but worth noting, I have a few analog pressure readers and I noticed that they didn’t match the TPMS on the truck. I eventually bought a good digital gauge, and found that my TPMS reads about 2-3 psi higher than the actual pressure.

I have the 275/65 18R's and run 40 PSI in all 4 tires. I rotate the tires around every 4000 miles. The are wearing better than my other vehicles OEM tire.

Call the tire manufacturer and they can give you a road pressure recommendation. They will ask you for the stock tire size on the inside door placard, then ask you what size you upgraded to and recal for you.
My old 04 with 35” Toyo muds they had me run 30psi in the street/freeway and they were dead on right.
