I’m seeing responses going in different directions. Not sure if this is what you mean?

I use it to run high startup amp tools like table saws from the 220v plug. I don’t want to spend a bunch on a soft start box. Only down side is I can’t run a 220v appliance at the same time. But I haven’t yet needed to. They are available at Home Depot for less than $30.

Perhaps the OP can clarify his question. I read it as requesting an adapter with 30A female ends. This has 20A females, which the PB already provides without an adapter.

Just make one if you want to be hardcore!

Split each hot leg of the 240v line into unique 115V receptacles and then tie the return wires together. Tie all the Grounds together if you like feeling safe (although not like the truck is earth grounded it’s actually earth insulated)

then every time you open the bed of your truck you can be like, yo boys I made that ‘points at wire bundle lovingly coated in 2 rolls of electrical tape and a few brewery stickers’

Yea, I wasn't sure. Especially when others were going off in several directions with suggestions.
In that case, it wouldn't be hard to just cut off one of the 20A ends and wire up a Nema 5-30 receptacle. The splitter uses 10ga wire so that should be sufficient. But I would not recommend plugging anything in the 20A end since the amp demand could be too high.

Agree completely. But if you’re going to rewire one female end and decommission the other, you’re pretty much left with this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BHTVQS8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1. And that’s not a bad thing. I use this adapter more than any other in my arsenal.

IF you want 220V. Didn't he want 110V? This isn't a transformer.
Nope. It’s 120V @ 30A. One of the four generator pins is dead, so it taps only one of the two phases.

Ok. I thought it was just a plug style converter.

There is a very good possibility that your adapter does the same thing. It taps only one of the two phases and splits 3600W between two 20A female receptacles.

I believe it is taking each 110 line for each leg of the splitter with the neutral and ground remaining common.

You're assuming it runs 10ga to 20ga plugs? I seriously doubt it does. These are 3 different parts wired together in an over-molded rubberized plastic. The odds are 51/49 in favor of the 20a whip parts containing 12ga wire.

It’s possible, but I doubt it. Most of these adapters don’t simultaneously tap both phases and it’s really hard to find one that does. But it’s really easy to check. Open up the wattmeter on the ProPower. Plug something like a drill into one of the two 20A sockets on your adapter and run it. Note which circuit is providing the power (A or B). Then plug the drill into the other 20A socket and run it again. Did the same circuit provide the power? If it did, then your adapter is tapping only one phase.

I purchased this back in 2021 from Amazon

Ford F-150 Looking for Recommendations on 30amp 240v adapter Screenshot_20230928_152210_Amazon Shopping

I use it to either run my brother's 50Amp RV, as well as verified I can charge my EV at as much as 28Amps 240V (level 2 charging)

To run my 30Amp RV, I use this connected to the one above: (Ebay)

It definitely taps both banks, so I could run 2 30Amp RV's simultaneously.

You may be correct. I'm not concerned though, since I'm using it for 110V appliances. It has not gotten hot or melted. Nor has the digital breaker popped when running tools with high start loads. My table saw is rated at 15A but draws a ton at startup which always trips the ProPower 20A breaker. I don't need to run 220V and 110V at the same time so I use my adapter to circumvent the need to get a 'soft start' which is $$$.

I guess I am at full circle now. That is exactly the same set up I use that I posted above. Only the color of the 50a to 30a splitter is different. The first adapter is the only one I’ve found that converts the generator outlet into some other format while preserving access to both phases.

... And that is how Scotty got the warp core back online moments before the Enterprise would have been blown to smithereens...?
