So what's the actual cost for 23s then if the 1100 is refunded!?
@ReverendQ

Oh, and when does the intank and/or high pressure pump run out of juice?
The stock fuel pump runs out of juice when it's 50° outside temps, on their E50 tune, when you hit your nitrous button..
...the stock fuel pump simply can't keep up with the demand...
...ask me how I know..?

All mute if you live in California.
Ah yes, the Nation State of California. Isn't that somewhere in between Iran and Syria? I can't find it on google maps.

jk. Isn't it ironic that California is the birthplace of hot rodding, and is also the deathplace of hot rodding? I wonder if Livernois would tune your truck if you drove it to them.... and lost your plates somewhere along the way.

Just called again

So the way it works is- They also sell an injector and tune upgrade package to run E85. This package isn't on their website yet but when you call to place an order, they can add this to your order. This package includes larger port injectors, and the E85 only tune. This can be used with or without the Multi-tune upgrade. So, if you don't care about being able to use the cruise control buttons to easily switch back and forth between your tunes, you can still run the full E85 tune, but would have to flash back and forth the old-fashioned way (and save yourself $650). This also includes a different calibration for your other tunes, since you have now installed larger injectors.

The Injector and e85 tune combo is $280 bucks, on top of the cost of the original tuning device and 2 tunes that it comes with. You can always add more tunes if you want. (Towing, low octane performance, etc)

He (tech support guy) wasn't sure about the flow rate of the larger injectors but said they were Ford OEM injectors.

He said that the only way to tune 23 models is the PCM Swap program. They send you an unlocked PCM, and a laptop with an interface cable. This service also requires that they schedule their tuning guru to call you and remote in to the laptop they send to configure everything. Once everything is working properly, you send back your PCM and their laptop, They return the additional $1,000 deposit. This cost is added to your cart on checkout, as is the $300 shipping charge.

2024 models are completely un-tunable at the moment. They bought a 2024 to begin the process of figuring out how to get in, but so far, he said they haven't been able to. He told me it took them 2 years to figure out how to get into the 2021/2022 models, and another year to figure out the 23 models.
Did they really "figure out" the 23 when they're just slapping in an old pcm

600 WHP on 3.5 ecoboost without upgraded rods and pistons is running on borrowed time. You are much better off with a 5.0 if you are trying to reliably hit 6-7-800 HP to the wheel without picking up your connecting rods off the side of the road.

The DPRC, like europe, thinks they can legislate their way to prosperity. Nowhere in nature is a larger parasite more beneficial to the host. ?‍♂

Do you have one installed on your truck? Curious of how easy/difficult it is.
TIA
No, just one in my Mustang along with an aeromotive AN adaptor for my -8 return line. I would install one on this truck, if I intended on running e85 though. It makes checking the content so much easier than carrying around a test kit, and getting fuel all over your hands, having to dump the excess in a trash can etc. It would be imperative in my opinion, if you wanted to run the Livernois Multi-tune with the flex fuel option.

Just called to inquire about adding the new options to my truck.

Multitune/e85 isn’t currently available for the Powerboost. Hopefully in the next few weeks.

Powerboost will require the tune, new port injectors and some type of fuel pump upgrade.

I called to inquire about specifically an e85 tow tune. The guy I spoke with said he'd check and call me back but I haven't heard from him yet.

I wonder if the fuel pump can keep up with 4mpg

For the power boost yes, now whether that’s a boost a pump or a new pump I’m not sure.

And I’m assuming this pertains to the low pressure of high pressure.

Hopefully, we’ll know more in a couple weeks.
