I think so but, it will be a personal preference thing.

I’m actually quite surprised how often I use it. I was really on the fence about taking the 63X or not, and I'm really glad I didn't. It’s really nice to be able to access the bed without having to reach over the tailgate and I threw a 2x6 in the bed slots, and it holds a couple stackable toolboxes in place that are easy to remove even when hooked up to a trailer. So now that some of you got PAT is it worth the hype ? Better than the old tailgate step ?
As the wife and I will be routinely towing a travel trailer and boat trailer, the convenience is worth it. (Especially as "my odometer" keeps climbing...)So now that some of you got PAT is it worth the hype ? Better than the old tailgate step ?

FYI - dealer called yesterday and asked how I was going to pay for the truck, I said. “Paying cash”. His reply was the incentives with Ford now make it attractive to finance. Basically they will knock another $5,500 off the price if I finance a portion of the truck, no pre payment penalty, etc. So MSRP just north of $75k, less pre-negotiated discount of roughly $8k, and now another $5.5k. So call it $62k out the door plus tax/title. Not bad.Congrats! But I think that's MY truck! Beautiful truck, cant wait to get mine! It will look exactly like yours!
Holy crap, that's a great price! Go for the financing and pay it off at the first payment. Mine is scheduled for the week of 8/26, so I won't have it until at least mid September. Hopefully that incentive will still be available.FYI - dealer called yesterday and asked how I was going to pay for the truck, I said. “Paying cash”. wow that’s epic. Do you have the codes for those rebates?FYI - dealer called yesterday and asked how I was going to pay for the truck, I said. “Paying cash”. No codes yet, but I won’t get to the dealer till later today. But did gather that Ford is getting more aggressive with financing incentives. BTW, the rate will be 2.9%. If I leave the note open for 3 payments the dealer gets full credit. I will do this because they have been great.wow that’s epic. Do you have the codes for those rebates?
I’m not sure how much more detail I will get, price has been all agreed upon at this point. I do wonder if as a buyer you are better off leading with the thought of paying cash, feels like that will give you leverage as they want to lure in customers to finance. That must be where the margins are for Ford! Thanks keep us posted, hope to pick up mine by end of week. I work for a credit union so interested to see how they compete.
