Can anyone find anything official about why the delete option is available? I searched the internet about this and nothing official on the lagging production of the PAT. I only got links to forums that speculated on this subject. Could the delete option have been added because some customers do not want the PAT and Ford decided to add this delete option? Ford is not good at keeping us fully informed.
Long McArthur said they weren’t ready for it on the production line durung the live stream last week, not really sure what that means or if there is more to it.

Might have more info during tonights stream, only time will tell.

I’m guessing the dealer meant it was previewing which means ford was considering it for scheduling. Odd though because they aren’t scheduling any with PAT yet so either there was a system error or your dealer was stretching the truth
Yeah he said it was previewing weeks ago. Maybe he wanted to give me fake/good news on my anniversary? Who
I didn't originally order the Retractable Rear Center Step, but thinking hard about adding it to my order. I'm also thinking it wouldn't be difficult to add later if I purchased the parts myself from Ford, although quite probable the price will be higher doing it that way...
If you got the BAP it won't work with the retractable step due to the Dual Exhaust.

No worries there...no BAP for me...

Got my confirmation on 08MAR for a Platinum Plus, red, of course. The PAT delete was an option, but I’m holding out for it! Thank goodness for this forum- my sleepy, small-town dealership didn’t have a clue.

Welcome to the club my dealership is the same. Called him today and he had no idea, we buy our 250’s and 350’s for him for the farm so I like to support them for our smaller vehicles.

Tim from Long McArthur said, with a disclaimer that he has no real info, said June production for PAT would be his best guess. He said “I don’t think it’ll be much longer”. Mainly that they needed to start job 2 production for Tremor and just weren’t ready yet.

So there’s some hope for all of us!

2:05:53 is where he starts talking about it.

When he was saying that he mentioned he thought at the earliest it would be at the beginning of the next month they schedule for. He may have forgot F150 is still scheduling for April currently so maybe May builds could see PAT. One could only hope

Usually if Tim has a feeling it is based on more than just mere conjecture. Probably pretty close to right.

My primary concern here is shirting from mere impatience to concern about other features. As Ford is truly firing up the line on the luxury trims now, I will be severely irritated if I get the PAT but lost active motion seats due to another "shortage" that we waited ourselves into . That is what has me worried now.

Ha, you read my mind. I sent this exact email to Chip. I am fine waiting as long as I don’t lose other features that I want more than the PAT. I’m sure he doesn’t know any more than we do, but I have the same concerns.

Yep. I basically only ordered this truck to get the multicontour seats I screwed out in 2022. While I don't want it to happen again with the PAT, I am starting to worry history might repeat itself with the same feature.

I also have concerns. If Ford doesn't build the truck with what it's supposed to have according to their order sheet I'll be walking away from the order and looking at competitors 2025 models.

Well, another week and another week of immediate scheduling for those who take the 63x delete. It's literally the fastest I've ever seen Ford move about anything. I guess they really don't want to make these tailgates.

I’ll be interested to see how quick they start getting some of us with PAT scheduled. Also curious if any builds with PAT will be scheduled in April or if they will wait for May build dates for all trucks with PAT.

Good news! Looks like Tim at Long McArthur was right.

Definitely shorter than I thought it would be. Thanks for sharing! Now to see how quickly we all get scheduled. Hopefully it’s as quickly as those who took the delete!

Also, judging by Granger's comment on their order thread, they say they have plenty of allocations left. Hopefully that makes next week scheduling even more likely.
