Yep, I experience the same issues on a nearby turnpike where the speed limit is 80 MPH. The turnpike was completed a couple of years ago, and when it was under construction, there were areas where the speed limit was reduced to 45 duirng construction. Apparently, there is some bad data in the...
I had a Roll-n-Lock on 3 of my prior trucks - looks like the one you have is a powered version, since there is not a latch mechanism in the middle.
I suggest you reach out to Real Truck, as they purchased Roll-n-Lock...they may be able to help you.
I drive with one hand at the apex of the steering wheel, which ordinarily requires very little force applied to the wheel to drive. The sensitivity of the cruise control with lane keep is overly sensitive to the point it is annoying - I find that I have to constantly countersteer the lane...
I installed the Ford Embark (SKU VJL3Z84501A42D, made by Retrax), and have hand washed the truck a couple of times, and no leaks anywhere on the slats or along the sides. I get a little bit of water intrusion where the top meets the tail gate...not a surprise with the PAT...
Yes, it was initially standard...later, Ford decided to offer them as options.
I ordered my truck back in Dec 2023, and it was produced in May 2024...and has the options installed. My Window sticker shows the option as an extra cost, although there was no extra cost out of my pocket - Ford...
I have the same mats - FYI, there is a pre-defined outline on the bottom of the mat to optionally remove the portion of mat that overlays the King Ranch placard on the floorboard...so that the entire placard is visible.
The tow mirrors were never listed on that page for my order either...but were on the Window sticker. Also the CG graphic for the mirrors was an amalgam of both the standard mirror and tow mirror...which continues to this day on the Ford Pass app. Some line of code in Ford's linked software is...
I think you had to upgrade to max rear axle to get the maximum rated tow capacity. Mine has the third leaf spring, and a receiver rated for 14,000 lbs.
I’ve seen several photos on here where the housing of the rear diff is spotted with rust…mine is not like that.
The small interface/coupling plate connected to the drive shaft appears to be unfinished bare metal, and is starting to develop some rust.
Yes, you are correct - 4 is needed. The package quantity of some of those fasteners is actually 4...you'll notice that when you go to the Ford parts website.
I used the info in this same thread - look back at Page 4

The hood on mine is very smooth. Other parts of the truck varies from almost no orange peel, to some noticable orange peel. Probably the most pronounced is on the RH front fender, and I wouldn't consider it not acceptable. Also, I haven't washed or waxed the truck since picking it up on the...
