I ordered my '24 Tremor on Feb 22. I'm also a holdout, afraid I would miss having the new tailgate. I actually never heard from my dealer but would still have elected to hold out. If this is delayed past midyear, I will most likely wait for a '25. Who knows at this point. Ford has really screwed this launch!

Ordered 24 Lariat 501A, 5.0L, FX4, BAP, BUP, and Tow package on 12/14/2023. Elected to keep the PAT. Still not scheduled according to Ford, but my Dealer informed me on 3/1 that my order was picked up by Ford. Not sure what that means since it isn't scheduled at all. However, I have seen a few folks not get a VIN but there Truck is already shipped and on the way. Ford needs to get it's act together. With all the Tech and AI available tin this age, there really isn't any excuse to have these types of issues. Especially when Ford can produce an F150 every 56 seconds.

I’m guessing the dealer meant it was previewing which means ford was considering it for scheduling. Odd though because they aren’t scheduling any with PAT yet so either there was a system error or your dealer was stretching the truth

I believe that many of us remain unscheduled because we ordered the BAP.
Once we slipped into Job 2 we are now also waiting on the PAT...

I’ll join the list too. I ordered my Lariat with BAP on 10/9. Originally in job 1 without PAT. I was ok with not having PAT. Then got pushed to job 2 with PAT. I was ok with that too. Talked myself into thinking I’d rather have it. Now I’m forced to choose! Likely will stick with getting it and wait with the rest of you. Dealer told me the BAP was the original delay, so even if I decide to remove the PAT, who knows when the BAP will be ready, so I’ll wait for all of it. My ‘11 with 184k miles is still going strong, so not in a hurry. Ford has really dropped the ball on the ‘24 rollout.
Curious, did anyone here order the Retractable Rear Center Step? If so, have you heard any delays or issuers with that. Considering adding it to my order since I’m getting the PAT now.

I didn't originally order the Retractable Rear Center Step, but thinking hard about adding it to my order. I'm also thinking it wouldn't be difficult to add later if I purchased the parts myself from Ford, although quite probable the price will be higher doing it that way...

I added the RRCS to mine. Seemed like it should be automagically included with the PAT (like on the Platinums).

I’m considering adding it too, but worried it will delay things even more.
I noticed on the order guide that it’s listed under Ford Accessories. I’m really hoping that means it’ll be available to purchase later and bolt on. I’m guessing there will also be third party steps that will be half the price.

I agree, it should be included with PAT.
Have you heard of any delays or issues with it?

I was a BAP order, 5.0L Lariat. Order placed on 12/27 and my blend date was 3/9. Maybe more of a dealer allocation thing getting scheduled? Or just luck of the draw?

This is a roll call for those of us that have orders that include the Pro Access Tailgate, weren't scheduled in Job 1, and elected to not take the 63x delete credit. Hopefully, this can be a way for us to track how many of us there are out there. From the sounds of it, many folks with orders that had PAT opted for the 63x and Ford rewarded them with a near instant scheduling for 4/1/24.

Then there are us. The holdouts. Are you still here in purgatory because of specific desire for the PAT? Are you here because you refuse to accept a BS $270 delete credit? Are you here just because your dealer didn't tell you about the 63x? We've got nothing but time to wait, might as well pass it together...
Purgatory? I feel like purgatory is knowing your truck is build but sitting in a lot somewhere collecting dust, with rats probably chewing up the wiring as we speak! Never actually knowing when your completed truck will be released or what issues it’s going to have when it does. ??

That's funny... I thought exactly that a few days ago... "Glad my truck isn't sitting there built, sitting outside getting dirty, not getting washed, baking in the sun."

I miss the "good ole days" when your vehicle was built 6 weeks after the order date and arrived at the dealer a week or two later...

Can anyone find anything official about why the delete option is available? I searched the internet about this and nothing official on the lagging production of the PAT. I only got links to forums that speculated on this subject. Could the delete option have been added because some customers do not want the PAT and Ford decided to add this delete option? Ford is not good at keeping us fully informed.
