Is there anyway to unlock the running boards on 25 king ranch besides opening the door. I would like to clean all the salt and sand off from the sno.

This is absent from the 2025 manual, nothing comes back searching for 'kick'.From the manual
$$$Wouldn’t have been so much simpler to just leave that small switch on the running board
What’s included with the Bed Utility Package?
The Pro Access Tailgate is standard on KR and Plat for 2025, so no step. Also heard tailgate integrated step is removed on certain trims for 2025 as well. I know for sure the 2025 Lariat won't have the tailgate integrated steps anymore. I'm hoping this isn't for KR and Platty but who knows.
We have a lot of '25 502As that came in at my local dealer and none of them have the integrated tailgate step. Also power up/down is now with the bed utility package; just integrated steps are removed as it seems.
Yes I know. <2024 you could get the integrated steps tailgate if you don’t want the pro access tailgate. What I meant was a few people at my dealer was telling me you can only get a tailgate with no step or pro access tailgate for certain trims. The integrated step is most likely deleted across all trims including Raptor since you can’t get a pro access tailgate for Raptor. The Pro Access Tailgate is standard on KR and Plat for 2025, so no step.
Pro Access is ford’s new tailgate that’s opens up without opening the whole tailgate; good for camping and all but RAM did this first lol so ford is late to the party as usual. Here’s a pic of Ford’s Pro Access tailgate. I’m not a fan of it and still will always choose the integrated step over this all day—all my trucks including the ‘24 Lariat had it and my ‘24 Raptor has it too. What is pro access? I have the retractable step with pull out handle. I use it all the time. I have arthritis and can't swing my leg up.
Do you all think ford is going to continue deleting every comfort feature in the future? What's a KR cost now? 80k?
These little nickel and dime deletions. Retractable step kick button, keyless access, lighting in cab, active park, I could go on cant add up to much. Active park is something I have but don't use.
Is Chevy and dodge doing the same thing?
It was definitely rare to get an optioned out truck for 2024 for sure—just had to be lucky and scoop it before someone else did! 2025s will be a mess but people will still buy them; although I’ve seen most of my friends already buying Raptors like I did haha (F-150 Raptors and Bronco Raptors).I was on the fence about the PAT but I now use it everyday and love it. That and the HUD...two features I'm glad I waited for. CCD and smart hitch are two deletes I've noticed for '25. Even the '24s they where hard to come by.
