I travel for work sometimes so I have been in lots of rental cars. I don’t remember one time having a car that was worse than my F150 at radio things…from car play to laggy response. Its bad, but we live with it or justify it away because we would rather drive in silence than drive other things.

I also travel for work sometimes and have been in lots of rental cars and every time I'm like I hate this POS and want my truck back. Do I wish that Android Auto would remember my last settings for audio on the left and maps on the right, yes. Do I wish that lane keep/centering doesn't come on with cruise by default, yes. But other than those items that require extra taps/clicks, it is pretty fast and flawless.
