Does ford void your warranty for uploading forescan applications. I want to download the global remote window application on a 2023 f150.

Hmmm short answer is No
You are only enabling features within the ford programming in modules.
You are not changing , only enabling FORD programming already there.

Ford has called out modifications with "aftermarket software" on dealer communications and denying warranty work if that is the cause.

The key being the last bit, if it doesn't cause an issue they can't hold it against you. If your windows quit working be sure to put stock asbuilt back into place. This is why backups are essential!

^true that, IMO^

Now the bit longer answer ....

It is possible with extreme carelessness to 'brick' or cause problems with some modules using FORScan.

IF you manage to do that, it does not 'void your warranty', but Ford can legally decline to repair the specific adverse consequence of your 'FORScan modification' under warranty. Everything else that's otherwise eligible for warranty repair (problems unrelated to the FORScan mod) will remain eligible for warranty repair and must be addressed as such.

This is all covered in the provisions of the US federal consumer protection law known as the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.
____________

Having said that, FORScan is a very robust and safe tool, IMO, if you follow some basic rules ....
  • ALWAYS back-up (save) your current module configuration immediately prior to undertaking any mod
  • Triple-check the parameter addresses and modified values before you load them to your vehicle
