Is a powerboost baja worthy?

I am in the early stage of planning a baja trip this December in my 2022 powerboost and I am wondering if y’all think it’s a good idea. San Diego to loreto and back in about 10 days.
I have done it many times before in my diesel f250 but reading about the random failures with the powerboost have me a little worried.
I have not had any issues yet with 8 months and 9k on the odometer other than the infamous battery issue and rats (which seem to have only hurt the foam cowling and are now gone thanks to advice from this forum).
I will buy full baja bound insurance, and i have premium geico but some parts of baja are still a little hairy to have a random undiagnosable hybrid issue…

What kind of Powerboost specific failure are you concerned with?
Just curious.

I don't view the Powerboost as fragile. It's definitely more complex than some other choices, but I don't think any more susceptible to damage on a trip like you describe than any other F150.

People take 2012+ Jeep Wranglers there. My 2016 Wrangler was way more flakey than my powerboost...

I am mostly concerned about having an issue like the person did in Moab that required a tow to a dealership…
Im not going to beat up the truck so im not really concerned about physical damage just having a random software issue or getting the “pull over safely” message somewhere remote.
The truck has been good to me so far so I will most likely go for it, baja is not nearly as remote as it once was anyway.

The truck doesn't know where it is. Just as likely to have a failure here as you are in Mexico. Or hopefully on the way back from Baja.

I think that was a failed in-tank fuel pump?
Not something we read much about.
