Welcome Nick, congratulations.Good morning all! I am new to the community. I have a 2012 Ford F-150 Ecoboost that I have had for 7 years. I bought it used at the local Ford dealer in my area with around 50,000 miles on it. It now has 260,000 miles on it and still going strong. There have been a few things I had to replace on it, but with the amount of miles on it, im chopping it up to wear and tear and can’t complain.
While I was at the Ford dealer ship in Sidney MT, getting my 2012 F-150 serviced and new spark plugs and coils put in, I got to looking at the new F-150’s and realized that they had a heck of a holiday sale going on and I was wanting a new F-150 soon just to have as a backup incase Optimus Prime (my 2012 F-150) went down for repairs, I would still have a way to get to work. I work an hour away from my house.. Which Im sure im not the only one here with a long work commute. I ended up going with the 2024 F-150 XLT 302A FX4 in carbonized grey metallic with the black appearance pkg. So far I am in love with this truck and i am already looking to put some upgrades on her. lol I think I might have a problem…

Welcome to the forum! We can't wait to see pictures of your F-150.Greetings all, from the Southwest Desert. I'm researching and getting ready to order a 2025 F150 Lariat. Looking forward to being part of this community and the information resources here!
I too believe you're gonna love the on board generator. I have a MY22 XLT and pull a Coachmen Freemen Elite 20SE. I have 30K miles on it now, and maybe 60% of those miles have been towing. Wouldn't be surprised if nearly half of the camping days we've boondocked. All of the home football games are boondocking. I'm so happy to just plug the trailer into the truck, and not have to take 2 Hondas and gas out of the truck and set them up.Hello, all! 'Newbie F-150 owner, here! So far, with 3,500 miles on it, I love it! 2024 Lariat PB Hybrid, in Avalanche w/Blackout package, 502A, 7.2kw Pro Power Onboard generator, Max Tow. I've tested the generator, and I think it's going to forever change my Lance-Travel-Trailer camping experience! Here are the things I love:
- I love the "approach" lights,- super nice, and helpful; welcome & goodbye graphics nice also
- Engine performance, horsepower, torque, towing capabilities and tools
- Integrated brake controller is great, now that I figured out how to get it working!
(setting up Backup assist and Reverse Guidance are next on my list!)
- SuperCrew spaciousness, steering wheel shape/heat, rubber floor mats, all the storage
- Spray in bed liner, and tie-down hooks, and electrical outlets
- Running board height and length for easy entry, exit
- And of course, the legendary F-150 capabilities and looks!
'Some things on my Christmas Wish List that I hope Ford might consider:
- Auto shut-off of lights when I turn off engine and open the door (why just ding at me?!)
- Have always-on, auto-off, (or a setting fordaytime running lights; vs. "parking lamps"
- Turn re-circulate-air on when I enter a tunnel, and off when I exit (my Hyundai did this)
- Better MPG in the Hybrid; going downhill, from the mountains, I'm getting about 25 MPG with 30% of miles in electric mode....seems like this could be improved. (I'm driving in EV Coach mode).
- Better customer service at Ford Service departments; so far, I'm 0 for 2, but will keep trying every Ford dealership in the Denver area until I strike gold;
- And - free loaners vs. "Rentals", (spending 1/2 of of what I spent on this truck, I always got free loaners and excellent customer service); better customer service experiences can only improve "stickiness" of Ford customers.
I look forward to learning more about this truck's capabilities and features!
Thanks for listening! And for building such great trucks!
