My 2024 did this exact same thing over the weekend in Indiana. Also cold. First time it sounded like a rumble strip for 10 seconds in a slight right hand bend at 40 mph, 3 minutes into the drive. 2nd time was 2 days later hour into drive, at 25 mph going straight. Will contact dealer today. Just over 8000 miles on odoNot sure if related to temperature or not... '24 powerboost and it's just finally getting cold here in Michigan.
On 6 different occasions in the last 24 hrs, probably 30 min total driving short distances, I've had a grinding sound in the front end. Sounds like 4x4 partially engaging. Not on acceleration. It seems to happen when I let off the gas and coast. Hitting 4h makes it go away instantly. Put it back in 2h and it may or may not come back right away.
First thought was a vacuum check valve but seems maybe the design was changed? Anyone know what the fix is or is this something a dealer is going to punt until it breaks?
