I have a 2021 Lariat FX4. It does not have vacuum type IWE’s. Is equipped with the 4A transfer case.
Truck was leveled with spacers for about 60k miles.
Recently installed icon coilovers and upper control arms. I did pull front CVs out form the IWEs in order to get room to remove/add coilovers. I did this same process when I installed the spacers before.
Retorqued the front CVs nuts to 30 foot pounds.
No when in 4A or 4H, 4L, I hear a popping sound coming from the front end (even in mid) and then the computer eventually disables 4x4. No sounds at all in 2H.
Is this an issue with the front CVs, the EIWEs, or the transfer case?
The CV angles look about the same they were before with no issues.
I am going to try and pinpoint where the popping is as soon as I can get someone to help me.
