I'm assuming that post was in jest - that's the worst thing you could do, especially for cleaning tinted windows.
I don't think you read it correctly, Ammonia can damage tinted windows because of its high pH level (11.6) and its ability to break down the adhesive that holds the tint in place. Sure it's not great on plastics either.

Quote fail, on my part. I meant this guy, who you quoted. ?

I just use old school Windex and a piece of paper towel.

I use this one and it’s awesome. Especially in the RCSB at night the glossy screen reflects off that back glass. This cuts that a ton. Spigen Tempered Glass Screen... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09HSQWW22

Yeah, that's the one I have. It's a little matte, but cutting down on the glare makes a difference

OCD for the win. Have it on my F150, wife’s Lincoln and sons GT. Easy clean up with detailers mist, no glare and no rainbows. Also have the pillar film and the Knob Enhancers on the truck to get rid of the sun glare the truck has at times.

Woah... I have the screen and pillar protectors from theOCDplug.com... but I hadn't seen the Knob Enhancers! Did you get the knurled or revolver style? I am thinking all black since I've got the standard black Lariat interior... but a little color might be fun.

I ordered the all black Revolver Style since I get a bunch of glare off of them.

I ended up going with the Spigen and I’ve been running it for a little over a week. Overall I like it; it’s easy to clean and seems to hide fingerprints well. Went on with no fuss and no bubbles. The one downside is it’s got a matte finish so you can tell it’s there, and if it’s hit with direct sunlight, like backing out of my east facing garage in the morning, it basically becomes opaque and renders the fancy camera system useless.

I’d probably go with a glossy tempered glass alternative if I do it again.

No screen protector, no scratches after 32,000 miles and I use a damp microfibre to wipe and another to dry.
