So I installed the IPC, PSCM, and IPMA updates for my 2021 Job 1 501A Lariat today - flawlessly. But I still can't bring myself to install the BCM update. I just don't see any benefit, but lots of risk. Anyone want to try to convince me otherwise?

I tried on my 302 end of Dec. It failed after doing a few writes and has since vanished in FDRS. There's really nothing to gain from it that I've yet seen so just leave it be

Wouldn't it be great if Ford could give a definitive answer? They're such a mess when it comes to technology/software.

Seeing how there is a different manufacturer for each module, and these manufacturer developes the software for the module, you will have incompatibility. Until Ford does in house software development, things will be screwed up.

This is laughable for me. I'm 76 years old and as I read some of the posts on this forum I have zero idea what any of you are talking about!!!!?‍ But on the bright side my 5.0 single cab scares the crap out of me as the speedometer flies to the right. There was a time when I would complain and then buy a supercharger.?
