How to Disable The Seatbelt Charm?

I made the change of value from Livinitups spreadsheet but it didn’t change anything. 3004 to the left of cursor, I changed the third value to a zero. Could you tell me what I did wrong ? I am a total newbie to forscan with exactly 2 mods ..one worked one didn’t. I’m sure I’m missing something.

Are you sure that the values are the same for a 2025 model? You might check the tables for the 2024 in the spreadsheet as well.

Did you click on "write" after you changed the value?

I did click write and the value change held after disconnecting and reconnecting. I was working of his spreadsheet here but I did not know of a 2024 specific list

There's a video out there on YouTube that I watched to do it. I don't remember what it was, but it involves buckling and unbuckling with the truck off and the parking brake on.

Still chimes when you start it up, but doesn't chime when you're driving.

And, before the safety police interject, I don't need my seatbealt on to move my truck down the cul de sac or out of the way of my wife's car in the garage. I'll be OK never going over 8mph.

I use seat belt extenders that are needed by many fat Americans and when left attached they defeat the alarm sensor. I use them when in an area where I am looking for wildlife and will not encounter other vehicles. When not needed I keep them in the console.

Whole lotta dollars for all those wonderful (?) features. My 1957 Plymouth did not have a radio. Lord how I miss it!
