FORscan, or go the scrap yard and cut out the buckles from a similar vehicle and leave them plugged in.

My first cars were out of production and parts were not available from dealers and so I often went to junk yards for the parts. What struck me was how many crashed cars were in the yards that had head size holes in the windshields on the passenger side. The driver was stopped or impaled on the steering wheel while their passenger went through the windshield.

My first cars and trucks did not have seat belts and I had to add lap belts to them. I had no doubt that driving around without a seat belt was stupid. If you are too fat for the factory seat belts buy a seat belt extender which is cheap. I bought a new truck in 1988 to get one with air bags for both the driver and the front passenger as I thought this was important. There are things where it makes no sense to take the risk and be wrong - dead wrong.

Be sure to have a current organ donor card and the younger you are the more valuable your organ donation will be. The helmet law in California greatly reduced the number of young male organ donors so driving a vehicle without a seat belt may help offset this.

  1. Without starting the engine, switch the ignition ON.

  2. Wait until the seatbelt warning light switches off (this will take about one minute).
Wait an additional 5 seconds before proceeding to Step 3.
Did not work in my '21. The warning light never turned off after 5 minutes. ???
There are more steps for doing it
For the whiners and hall monitors above, lots of folks use their trucks on farms and worksites where they move around in small increments and get in and out dozens of times without ever going on a road. For these owners and for those who have disabilities indicating not wearing seatbelts (there are many) Ford provides a specific software procedure to disable the seatbelt warning. DISABLING THE SEATBELT WARNING IS AN ACTUAL FORD TRUCK FEATURE so please get over yourselves. I always wear a seatbelt, but my wife and I often get a chuckle when mounting our motorcycle for another adventure on a mountain road far from the nearest EMT - and I tell her to buckle up. We do carry rescue insurance and have needed to activate it twice in remote locations, but the idea that you can or should eliminate risk quashes life quality.

Deactivating the Ford F-150’s Belt-Minder™ Seatbelt Alarm Feature
This procedure walks through how to disable the seatbelt alarm on the Ford F-150. Please note that the driver and front passenger warnings switch on and off independently. In order to disable the seatbelt alarm for both, you will need to follow this procedure twice. Before Getting Started: Make sure that (1) the parking brake is set, (2) the transmission is in park, (3) the ignition is off, and (4) the driver and front passenger seatbelts are unbuckled.

  1. Without starting the engine, switch the ignition ON.

  2. Wait until the seatbelt warning light switches off (this will take about one minute).
Wait an additional 5 seconds before proceeding to Step 3.
  3. Choose which seating position you would like to switch off. Buckle then unbuckle the seatbelt 3x, ending in the unbuckled state.
Wait for the seatbelt warning light to switch on before proceeding to Step 4.
  4. Buckle then unbuckle the seatbelt one more time. The seatbelt warning light should flash to confirm that the operation was successful.
How Do I Re-Enable My Belt-Minder™ Seatbelt Alarm?
Once the Belt-Minder™ seatbelt alarm is disabled, you will be able to re-enable the feature by repeating the exact same procedure outlined above. Just as it is with disabling the feature, you will have to re-enable the driver and front passenger seatbelt alarms separately.
This is straight out of the manual for my 2021 XL 5.0 RWD.

I made the changes in forscan as suggested by captain dirty beard above and also listed in Livinitups spreadsheet. It didn’t work for me. I’m absolutely new at forscan so I may have missed something. This was the second mod I tried. The first was adding a keypad and enabling it. That was successful. 2025 king ranch if it matters. Looking for advice on this.

If a bell has to go off in order for person to fasten his/her seatbelt they need one to flush the toilet after sitting on it.

You might be surprised how many people need that bell to remind them to flush.

At least from most of the restrooms I've been in.

I’d be interested in any other info you may have on this
There's a video out there on YouTube that I watched to do it. I don't remember what it was, but it involves buckling and unbuckling with the truck off and the parking brake on.

Still chimes when you start it up, but doesn't chime when you're driving.

And, before the safety police interject, I don't need my seatbealt on to move my truck down the cul de sac or out of the way of my wife's car in the garage. I'll be OK never going over 8mph.

Edit- I looked in my history and found it-
