How often do you reboot Sync4?

2 or 3 times per week. Usually related to no sound when music is playing. I always use CarPlay and the latest iOS updates on my iPhone 15.

A little off topic - I have had 2 Android Auto updates to my phone in the last few days. Maybe it will have a better connection.

Had a no audio situation over the weekend. Manual reboot in flight to get some radio going while taking my mom fishing. Have had about the same seat time with an android and an iphone with this truck now. While the iphone rarely drops connection with sync, the random sync crashes are equally as frequent.

For me it seems like the second I stop trying to break my shit, it breaks. ?‍

I have consistent issues if I use wireless carplay and get out of the truck for a short period of time, such as running into wawa for a drink, or filling up the gas tank. When I get back in music will be playing I have no audio unless I force restart sync. I have tried rebooting the phone and it doesn't fix the issue, only rebooting sync brings it back. If I get out for longer periods of time I never have an issue. So I assume it's something with the truck not fully shutting down the electronics during the short periods.

Same issue here with no audio or the black screen. Happens almost every time I drive the truck. I'm just in the habit of restarting sync. Would sure be nice to get an update to fix...

I generally have to reboot up to 3 times per month, and right now it is always when I start the truck.

IOS17.4.1 update earlier this week, been almost trouble free...
One small lock up in navigation yesterday, a quick app toggle and it was back ripping.
Been noticing multi lane HD traffic in a few spots, could be a glitch too, not sure how accurate the traffic is operating as a 3rd party app.

Knock on wood, cross your fingers and toes... Sync4 has been pretty solid the last few weeks. I did a BMS reset after I noticed the second to last update getting hung up. Then had back to back updates to this currently. BMS reset might be worth a try if your sync is out of sync.
