How much does 3" inch lift with 35's affect PowerBoost's performance and MPG?

Powerboost is heavy truck -- with you in it it's easy over 6klbs. That's extra mass to offset trailer weight. Strongest frame of all F150s sans raptor. GVWR is under-rated for what it's got. A lot of F150 trims are around the 5klb mark. All of the additional weight is inside of the frame rails so it's got a good CG for what it is.

Thanks. Looks like it took a hit as far as mpg. I just got it so I’m gonna give it a month to figure out exact numbers. Thanks for the help

Are they E rated tires? You have factory wheels so no weight gain there but if they are E rated tires you have a much heavier tire than stock. Looks great BTW.

I recently put a 6112/5160 kit in my shortbed powerboost.

I had the dealer set the struts to max height (2.5 in lift) and still have about 1.5 inches of rake, so probably only got close to 2 in of actual lift d/t the extra weight of the PB. Also added 285/65r20 Maxxis ATs (34.7x11.6 in) on stock sport wheels.

For the first few months of ownership I got 17-20mpg; this gradually improved to 18-28 as I learned to manage the throttle and maximise the electric motor in the months following.

Since installing tires and the level, my MPG is back down to 17-22... some of that is probably because the new tires and suspension make me want to drive it harder
