I believe that the SCCM cannot be bought without a wiper stalk already attached, but depending on if you have auto wipers, you might have to switch stalks. The SCCM also does not seem to come with the adjustment button for power adjustable steering wheel, but again, that can just be put on. I currently have an SCCM and wiring harness I purchased from Boosted Grey Goose, and the SCCM came with a wiper stalk, but I will need to swap it. My truck should finally be ready for me to pick up next week, so eventually I will get to doing this install, likely late Mar.

From what I have seen in other retrofitting, I think that my truck might already have the wiring harness run from the BCM to the back of the SCCM, along with a heated steering wheel (Tremor 402a), but my SCCM will just be missing the pins to pass through, so I might have a wiring harness I will be looking to get rid of, along with a Tremor heated steering wheel (I bought a Raptor one from Barry T). I will also have a probably valueless HVAC control module without the heated steering wheel button but heated/cooled seats, and a digital HVAC module (I have 2 in my garage).
I'll be in the same boat. I got the SCCM and harness arriving tomorrow from BGG but good chance I may have that harness for sale once I'm through.

Yeah, I am one. Can confirm the only thing required was the SCCM. All other components, wiring (minus the HVAC with button) was present in mine.
Thanks for sharing! Were you able to successfully replace the SCCM with correct pins and have the heated steering wheel working? Did you also replace the HVAC or just the software update with Forscan?

Absolutely it works great. Happened to find the right SCCM on ebay, replaced the HVAC and updated with the forscan settings in this thread. I did have to get a pre-release version of forscan in order to connect- I don't know if that situation has changed and current versions support MY23 now?

Do you know the part number for the SCCM for MY23?

So it sounds like you need 3 parts for MY23 trucks providing you have the wheel installed already, HVAC button, clock spring, and SCCM.

The clock spring is a sub component of the SCCM

That might be my confusion then, that clock spring and SCCM are the same part when it comes to ordering it. They are actually 2 separate parts when you get them.

I believe if you order the SCCM, it has a clockspring already installed. I purchased one from a wrecked truck so I cannot really speak to the assembly when ordering new from Ford.

They are not the same part though, even when ordering. You can order just the clockspring by itself (I’m not sure if you can order the steering control housing, AKA the SCCM, without the clockspring though). I’m also not sure that the money saved by buying just the clock spring would be worth the additional work of disassembling and reassembling the SCCM for most people though.

Does that mean your truck will have everything except for the correct SCCM? In that case, is the only part you need the correct SCCM with pins, and you just need to swap the SCCM and connect all wires? I hope that is the case!
Can confirm what others have noted, from my reading here and on the raptor boards every 23 that has been opened up to date that has the “heated steering delete“ option has the correct wheel with heating element and correct harnesses installed.

my 23 raptor was delivered last week haven’t had a chance to open it up for first party confirmation

I installed my steering wheel and Sccm and new hvac controls today. Everything works great except I have no heated seats anymore for some reason. The indicator lights work on the hvac control but no heat. Can anyone shed any light on this for me? I ran the power wire to the location in picture below. Could I have knocked a heated seat wire loose? Is it in that same connector or is likely a forscan hvac programming issue? I’m stumped.
I have the same problem. New ML3Z-19980-K HVAC module from a Ford dealer, programmed with my backed up as-built and then added HSW function. Everything works on the module but seats don't heat up. I've dug around everywhere in the programming (this module and others) and can't see what would cause this.
So I removed the hvac controls that I put in and put my old one back and the seats started to work again. I just went with the soft button on th screen. I’m not sure if the hvac control I bought was defective or not. I set it up properly in Forscsn and everything worked but the heated seats. Oh well.
Was this your final resolution, or did you pursue it further? I can't add the climate bar without a couple more OTA updates or programming the APIM with FRDS, so I'd be stuck with the super duty climate card if I want to go with a soft control only (which I'd be ok with, but a bit disappointed).

I just completed the mod today with parts from Boosted Grey Goose. Luckily, he sent the SCCM along with the clock spring as I needed both. I've got a 23 Platinum and also replaced the HVAC.
So I've got the spare harness laying about now that I'll have to list in the forum later along with a SCCM (that I broke two tabs off of on accident), clock spring, and HVAC module.

Did you need the SCCM because it didn't have the connectors, or because of the two broken tabs? I have a 23 plat, and haven't dug in yet to see if I need the SCCM. Have a clockspring on order.

The first and not the latter. Grabbed this photo. Connector is that block on the bottom left corner. Just a tip for those to be less stupid than me., after undoing the 4 bolts on the SCCM, there are two clips on the right and left side located near the top. You have to undo them from the side and not just pull until they break. Or be like me and pull until they break cause I didn't want to take the steering column covers off. Plus I don't think the old SCCM is worth much since most people are trying to go up from that and not down.

Do you have active steering? That will make a difference
