For those that already ran the wire to BCM, what length did you use? What gauge? For the terminal connector, to ground stardard O ring to wire crimper? thanks

Unsure of the length as I haven't done it yet, but I recall a minimum of 10ga wire. Also, a correctly sized ring terminal will be fine for your ground connection.

I would like to thank everyone for all the information shared here.
Yesterday I was able to put the Steering Wheel, the HVAC controller and the harness that was needed to turn on my HSW and my Paddle Shifters.

Thanks to @BarryT82 for supplying the Steering Wheel, @Jesse-Infotainment for always being super helpful, @superfordman and @DK4.

I Love it now.

That's great! Do you mind sharing the parts you had to replace/order for this mod? New streering wheel? New clock spring? Wiring harness?

HVAC Controller: ML3Z-19980-K
Clockspring and Harness came from Boosted Grey Goose (I bought from someone at ebay), I believe the code it is ML3Z14A664B according to @BarryT82.
I got the Raptor Steering wheel from @BarryT82
The harness for the paddle shifters I did it myself

The rest I followed this thread.

Is there list that clearly describes the different hvac modules?

ML3Z-19980-K: With atc. With heated rear window. With heated seats. With cooled seats. With heated strg. wheel.

ML3Z-19980-B: With atc. With heated rear window. Without cooled seats. Dual zone ac, without heated back window, with heated seats.

For B, what does with heated rear window vs without heated back window mean?
What does 'atc' mean? Automatic temp control?

I'm not retrofitting ventilated seats, so what I really want is a dual zone, with heated steering wheel, with heated seats module if it exists.

I do not believe it is possible to get the hard button for the HSW without the cooled seat button

@dolsen is correct, but if you just want to add the heated wheel button to the touch screen via forscan, and you also want the led temperature display on the HVAC knobs for an XLT with dual zone climate and heated seats (but not cooled), ML3Z-19980-B is the part number you want.

Thanks. I guess I can just put a vinyl sticker over the cooled seat buttons then if they get annoying to look at (mostly because I don't want to fork out the money for the ventilated seats).

I've brought this issue up and I've been told that the whole assembly is required. I thought I could just get the module and not the assembly, but have been told that won't work. The whole assembly with the blinker stalk is required. Not sure why...
I believe that the SCCM cannot be bought without a wiper stalk already attached, but depending on if you have auto wipers, you might have to switch stalks. The SCCM also does not seem to come with the adjustment button for power adjustable steering wheel, but again, that can just be put on. I currently have an SCCM and wiring harness I purchased from Boosted Grey Goose, and the SCCM came with a wiper stalk, but I will need to swap it. My truck should finally be ready for me to pick up next week, so eventually I will get to doing this install, likely late Mar.

From what I have seen in other retrofitting, I think that my truck might already have the wiring harness run from the BCM to the back of the SCCM, along with a heated steering wheel (Tremor 402a), but my SCCM will just be missing the pins to pass through, so I might have a wiring harness I will be looking to get rid of, along with a Tremor heated steering wheel (I bought a Raptor one from Barry T). I will also have a probably valueless HVAC control module without the heated steering wheel button but heated/cooled seats, and a digital HVAC module (I have 2 in my garage).

Does that mean your truck will have everything except for the correct SCCM? In that case, is the only part you need the correct SCCM with pins, and you just need to swap the SCCM and connect all wires? I hope that is the case!

That is what I am thinking based on what I have seen from others who have taken delivery of 402a and above 23's. If not I have all of the other parts, but less work is less work.

There have been one or two members that have reported exactly that

Is there another thread for these reports? I'd love to subscribe to that thread.
I don’t recall where, some of them could even be in this thread
