We’ve been negative/ close to 0 in north Idaho for weeks. Came up to Alberta to the in laws for Christmas. Last year it was -30F before wind chill. Get up here this year and it’s almost 45. Gotta say, 35 to 45 never felt so good.
What a difference three days makes.

I have a 2021 XLT with CoPilot Assist. I see two part numbers floating around for SCCM/Clockspring and it seems like some people are saying you need one and some are saying you need the other. I think the ebay listing was for the whole unit that included both. Looks to me like you probably need both. Is this accurate?

IIRC the SCCM is a subassembly of the clock spring. I think buying the whole clockspring is a bit easier to swap out

I agree with @dolsen, the ML3Z-3F791-BB is much easier to swap than trying to pull apart the clockspring and separate it from the sccm. Your issue will be finding one.
I ordered that entire part from varsity ford and it was on back ordered until maybe march. I got lucky and seen a reputable guy post one for sale on a Facebook group so I swooped in and bought that one then cancelled my varsity ford one.

works like a champ

I'm looking at that part on two different web sites. On one it looks like it is the whole assembly:
https://parts.lakelandford.com/p/Fo...umn-Switch-Housing/105752924/ML3Z3F791BB.html

On another (and most sites look like this) it looks like it is just the housing without the actual clock spring.

Just installed the HSW and it works but my heated & cooled seats, rear defrost and passenger dial are not working. Any help is appreciated? 2021 501A with factory cooled and heated seats. These are the values I changed below.

Looks like you used the values I posted. I haven’t vetted those yet and was looking for input, I believe @superfordman posted the values somewhere in this thread.

With that said, it appears you also installed a new HVAC module with the hard HSW button. Did you drop in your factory as builts after installing the new HVAC module?

No I did not drop in the factory as builts after installing the new HVAC. How would I do that? Sorry if there is a link somewhere I can search.

I would start there. That’s *most likely* the issue.

What you should have done before swapping the HVAC module is back up the as built data (save the stock as builts) and the upload them into the new HVAC module. To prevent swapping it back, you could go onto the motor craft websites and find your stock as builts and write them into the HVAC module now. THEN youll have to go back and make the changes for the HSW in the HVAC module again

It’s a common error many of us made once before too. Live and learn. One helpful suggestion I’d give you, next time you forscan back up every module you have. Then you have the backups for next time.

If you don't have a asbuilt HVAC forscan backup already, honestly the easiest and quickest thing to do would be to hook your old one back up, back up the asbuilt, hook your new one back in, then write the backup asbuilt to the new controls.
