Read through the bulletin. What am I missing? It's not April 1st. Seems way too good to be true.

I would love that I got a very slight discount for HSW delete, and then eventually got it installed for free. But seems like Ford has no incentive to correct. This would be a baby step in the right direction for those that bought the trucks, even with the deleted options. From a business perspective, I just don't understand why they would do this.

Again, you guys are more savvy than me, so let me know if I'm misreading or misunderstanding something. ...don't look a gift horse in the mouth, maybe.

@greek9 , agreed. I'm wondering if there were units built without HSW and that did not get a credit for it... my sticker says - $140.00? I'd love to know if I'm on the VIN list or not ?‍

Curious about the VIN list. Probably all the high end trims.
One of the reasons I chose to buy a 2021 this year was getting deleted steering wheel. That was before finding on here how easy it is to add it back in.

Don't get your hopes up.

US population of affected vehicles: 6,261

Owner letters are expected to be mailed the week of September 15, 2023.

Given that it is a very small number of trucks I assume they are Platinum/Limited that were supposed to get the heated steering when it was cut from all the lower trims. It looks like they simply ran out of the proper SCCM and sold the trucks anyway to be fixed at a later date. Watch your mail for a letter from Ford. I would expect this to show up as a CSP in Ford Pass app as well.

I'm guessing this only applies to Lightning, however, it does list Kansas City as an assembly plant.

If this works out for ICE, I suppose I'll have some parts sitting around that I'll need to get rid of. Maybe sometimes is pays to procrastinate (aka work the wife's to do list instead of mine).

I'm talking to my dealer to try schedule mine in but it's so new they have no idea what I'm talking about.

It's not showing on my Ford pass but I do see it listed under 'recalls' on my Ford account and the dealer could see it when they pulled up my vin. It's listed under Customer Satisfaction Programs.

My honey do list is getting worse by the year. Apparently lawn work isint considered ‘work’ anymore and tearing an engine out to put long tube headers is classified as enjoyment.

MY23 Nov22 Build Raptor trim here and not on the list... Dealer order parts, dropped the off truck for retrofit, but software was not avail for my VIN to proceed :/

I do have the parts for the swap as well, but since I put it off this long may hold out a little longer to see if the dealer route plans out... I know MY23 software has been quite limiting compared to 21-22, at least based on Cobbs continued delay on MY23 tunes. But that said, I was able to get into Forscan on my '23 back in January.

Was your dealer going to do this for free under the customer satisfaction program, or were you going to pay them to install the parts? If the latter, you can still have them install the parts and then enable it all with Forscan

Should be there for all F150 . UNder Programmable features. This is a 23 Raptor vin.
