I have a 22 Lariat. It has all the ultra fancy headlight goodness. I keep hearing they are going to shit out someday.. So what aftermarket solution does all the same stuff, looks the closest to stock, and is as bright or brighter?

Nothing with the features you're likely enjoying, especially if you've enabled the matrix features. I'm hoping the DRL burnout issue forces them to keep production healthy for the time being. Extended warranty w/ LED is a must

Unfortunately, I didn't buy the extended warranty. Didn't know about all the fun issues we might have waiting for us when I purchased. Haven't found a post purchase warranty company that will warranty lights. You know of one?

What @HammaMan said. If the headlights were $200 to replace, I'd say roll the dice and see what happens. However, the last time I looked, they were at least $2000 each to replace through Ford. Given that information, I would both encourage the Platinum Care extended warranty along with the additional lighting coverage.

When one of my LED Projectors got busted, I opted for a pair of aftermarket lights (alpha Rexx alpha black) because a pair of them was half the price of 1 OEM light. Given the chance to do it over again, I'd probably stick with OEM lights. These work (and look better than stock in my opinion), but the truck throws codes no one has been able to help me get rid of, and my brights won't come on half the time I try to use them.

I'll second the recommendation to buy an extended warranty from Granger.

After hearing how expensive replacement lights were, I definitely thought the $50 surcharge for lights was a no brainer when buying my VIP from Ford.
