Is there a trick to getting the kick panel off that covers the internal fusebox. I was able to get the two other panels off, but the kick panel top and bottom seem attached really well and frankly, this is where I pull too hard and break the clips off. I didn't want to risk it in fear of hearing the rattle the rest of my trip.

Cool I can see this. There’s kind of a handhold at the forward edge closest to the firewall put your hand there and pull inward and aft.

I can tell you this if you pull from the top N word you will or at least I broke a couple tabs from where that piece meets the aft piece that the door opening. That forward piece will cost you $56 at the dealership.

Yeah that is what I am afraid of...I'm going to give it another shot.

Trim panel tools make it much easier to remove but even with them, those clips can still break.

and if you’re kind of heavy-handed like me, it’s a crapshoot whether you’re gonna break something or not.

Let me ask you this, do you have a particular brand or style of trim, clip, tool, or tools that you would recommend?

I got this set back in 2022 and it's worked perfectly for my needs. So far only broken one tab on the that triangle door panel piece opposite the mirror. Mostly because I didn't know exactly where they were placed and pried in the wrong spot. Super glue to the rescue. 🤣
