I finally got my truck fixed with the A/C issue after multiple visits and rentals being graciously provided by local dealer. However, my transmission is shifting hard, like the whole truck feels like it runs over a speedbump. This happens in gears 6-9 going uphill or accelerating at a decent rate of speed like 50-75 mph rapidly.

I feel like it has gotten worse. I just want to drive the dang thing and not have to bother my service advisor so much.

I came from a 2023 Tundra that I traded for this truck because it literally died in the middle of the road doing 45mph and after all the quality issues I read about, I got rid of it. I'm wondering what I should do now.

Had the tranny "re-flashed" once already.

Is it possible that the A/C fix may have also updated the PCM (I think that's the right term... the transmission software) and therefore an adaptive learning reset was performed?

I wouldn't be surprised. My suggestion would be give it a few more days and see if it smooths out.

I can relate to the "just want to drive the dang thing".... I just "notice" my transmission almost constantly.

Mine shifted like total garbage after disconnecting the battery for a while. Now, after ~800 miles it's way better. Not perfect, but well within tolerable.

If you did in fact have a PCM update, I would say that the jerkiness is expected for a bit. Do your best not to switch fuel grades as I've noticed that confuses it.

I'd also have someone check the fluid level to make sure.

Right if it's as bad as you say, I'd jump under there with a 19mm flex head ratchet wrench with it running in park and cold and make sure it's just barely on the stick
